Although its main interest is in the paranormal phenomena associated with ghosts and hauntings. Like the SPR the club also has its roots in the Trinity College of Cambridge, where it is clear there must have been some lengthy discussions of ghosts and hauntings for two of the longest standing organisations to evolve from. Those spooky discussions were said to have started around 1855 amongst the colleges fellows. I was looking at their About Page to see a bit more about the current members etc and found this: Quote Overnight investigations are held at sites throughout the year with the aim of observing and recording phenomena. Our aim is to conduct serious research; our investigations are not for entertainment purposes or for thrill seekers. And....then I found this for those of us who are skeptics! Quote The Ghost Club is an informal, democratically run club of genuinely open-minded members and it should be stressed that unlike many similar organisations, interested sceptics are always welcome. A nice inclusive club! For those of us who want to believe, but haven't quite got there yet.
