Still Waters Posted August 9, 2019 #1 Share Posted August 9, 2019 The clergy at a cathedral has been accused of being unprofessional and "poisoning the medicine" a church offers by installing a fairground ride. A full-size helter skelter has been put in the nave of Norwich Cathedral to give people a different view of the inside of the building. The Right Reverend Dr Gavin Ashenden, former chaplain to the Queen, said the cathedral had made a "mistake". The cathedral said it was a creative way to share the story of the Bible. https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-norfolk-49292493 Related: https://www.unexplained-mysteries.com/forum/topic/329399-cathedral-installs-crazy-golf-course-in-nave/? 1

aztek Posted August 9, 2019 #3 Share Posted August 9, 2019 i do not see anything wrong with that, maybe they figured it will bring kids to slide on it, and their parents, and that may get the church extra people to attend and donate.
