Have you read the material which ID's the language that is written on the machine and also that it notes when the Greek Olympics will be held - a little odd that these particular pieces of information would have been put on a device made by some earlier 'invisible civilization'.

Aliens.... there I said it.... Street credit level up 100.

We may have to dunk you in brain juice (we squeeze Essan, Cormac, Kenemet and Harte for it) there are other smart people here too but they are foreigners and there brain juice is not pasteurized.

Or it could be an out of place artefact like many others estimated to be million years older but science is wrongly evaluating their age.

Best example: https://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coso_artifact

Quote

On April 12, 2018, Pierre Stromberg was contacted by the family of one of the co-discoverers of the artifact. Offered an opportunity to physically inspect the artifact, Stromberg accepted and also arranged for the artifact to be inspected by a geologist from the University of Washington Earth and Space Science department. The inspections confirmed the previous conclusion that the artifact was a 1920s-era Champion spark plug.[2]

Hero steam engiene is more interesting than Antikythera mechanism. But all that show that we have had earlier records of some achivements than we used to think. Nothing more. Same as we used to believe that Columbus discover America.
