To be honest, I didn't know what Law the US Virgin Islands fell under - I thought it was the US Law, but you'd think they'd have raided it much, much earlier than now.  One would hope it was under surveillance but I think it goes without saying, we can't trust their surveillance anymore......I mean, they couldn't even keep him alive in prison for 6 weeks. 

People born in the Virgin Islands are US citizens as it is a US territory. They can vote if they move to the continental US. Just like Puerto Rico. However I think they need to show a reason to raid a person's property and get clearance from whomever is governing the islands.

Funny...seems like just yesterday "popular vote" was a big thing among the nevertrump set...not so much anymore, I guess.

You really need to work on your comprehension.  There was a time that pedophilia was not on most people’s radar.  People were not aware of how insidious it was.  Back when people were more independent and mature, the proper action was to mind one’s business.  That was no excuse; that was reality.  Just like slavery was not evil just a few hundred years ago.  But as we have become more woke as a culture, we have become less independent and mature and act more like victims.

Definitely not.

But I understand what @RavenHawk is saying.  You may or may not be old enough to remember a time when something such a pedophilia may have been occurring, but you were told it's none of your business and to stay out of it.  I remember a girl I went to high school with as being molested by her father.  I told my mother about it and her advice was to stay out of it and mind my own business.  She said that I didn't know what I was talking about and that I definitely shouldn't go around spreading rumours like that or it could bring shame upon that person (that girl's father) in particular.  

I remember thinking to myself, but this seems so wrong.  My poor friend told me and I was unable to help.  I advised her to go to the Police but she was too scared as her father threatened her with a block of wood, not to mention her mother knew it was going on too. 

These days people are not so afraid to speak out.  Back then, you weren't to shame people or it would bring shame upon yourself and your own family.  So stupid when I think back and it's definitely not how I bring my kids up.  One good thing about Millennial's is they're not afraid to scream out about something they feel is wrong.  That's a good thing especially in cases like this.

No. It's not.  You obviously haven't experienced living in the particular era that @RavenHawk is speaking of.  Therefore, you won't understand these references, it's impossible for you to.  You are fortunate you didn't live in that era and be thankful.  Because in today's era, it's not acceptable.
