Epstein found Dead in Jail

More being said about the double standard shown on how reports on Kavanaugh and reports on Epstein were handled.

https://www.twincities.com/2019/11/12/john-kass-jeffrey-epstein-and-brett-kavanaugh-a-tale-of-double-standards/

Let’s remember what ABC, NBC and other media did to Supreme Court Justice Brett Kavanaugh during his confirmation hearing just a year ago, destroying his reputation, smearing him without evidence because he wasn’t on their political team.

Oh, you don’t want to go near Kavanaugh? Then just get off the bus, because I’m going there.

There is just no responsible way to discuss ABC’s alleged spiking of the Epstein story — or NBC’s spiking of the Harvey Weinstein story — without dealing with how those news networks, and other media outlets, worked frantically to destroy Kavanaugh.

I have to wonder though if they are scrambling in this panicked way because there are lots of similar type stories that could be exposed.

That could very well be. What other stories could the media be holding back on so the public doesn't find out about it? That's a very good question skliss!

Thanks! It seems a bit overboard behaviour to me. And CBS went into a panic too and fired that poor girl on the whisper she might have done it. That's a huge fear on both parties that they might have a stand-up leaker in their midst....right? It didn't take a half a day before she was out on the street wondering what the heck happened.

ABC is still freaking trying to find who leaked the Robach video.

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/they-are-freaking-abc-news-executives-still-trying-to-out-epstein-whistleblower

An insider at ABC told the New York Post on Tuesday that the company is looking through employees' emails and interrogating staff to figure out who leaked the video. Those investigating the leak report all the way back to ABC News' parent company, according to the source.

The investigation comes after CBS fired Ashley Bianco for making the clip. Bianco claims she did not leak the clip herself, and a person purporting to be the leaker penned a letter under the name "Ignotus," stating that they were the one who leaked the video and not Bianco.

"They are freaking out over the Harry Potter reference.

Tennessee Congressman Steve Cohen has accused Dershowitz of being a Nazi collaborator. Dershowitz says he's a fellow liberal Democrat. It's all over an attack on Lt Col Alex Vindman who is expected to testify at the Trump impeachment hearings.

https://www.jpost.com/American-Politics/Jewish-Congressman-calls-Alan-Dershowitz-a-Nazi-collaborator-607604

And yet he was appalled at Nancy Pelosi for saying she wants to see Trump in prison.

https://www.snopes.com/fact-check/dershowitz-appalled-at-pelosi/

He says House Democrats are acting like Stalin.

He also says it's unconstitutional to impeach Trump.

Who's paying this guy? Shouldn't he be in court for Guiffre's case now? It was scheduled for sometime in November. Here's more about Boies' lawsuit against Dershowitz.

http://www.abajournal.com/news/article/defamation-accusations-fly-in-feud-between-alan-dershowitz-and-david-boies

Boies’ suit described Dershowitz as a longtime friend and lawyer for Epstein, a convicted pedophile, who has “been personally accused under oath by two women of sexually abusing them when they were young.”

“In an effort to distract attention from his own misconduct,” Boies’ suit says, Dershowitz “has engaged in a campaign to attack and vilify each of the lawyers who have represented his victims.”

Here's the interview where he calls Guiffre "sleazy".

Another former New York model who goes by the name of Kiki will be on the Dr. Oz show today(Thursday). This is the first she's spoken out about her abuse by Epstein.

https://nypost.com/2019/11/14/former-model-who-goes-by-kiki-to-detail-jeffrey-epstein-abuse-on-dr-oz/

A former New York model is coming forward for the first time Thursday to claim she was assaulted by pedophile Jeffrey Epstein.

The accuser, only using the name “Kiki,” is speaking out on TV’s “Dr. Oz” about her alleged abuse at the hands of the multimillionaire pervert who treated her as a “disposable” item to satisfy his “urges.”

Kiki says she was recruited while working as the hostess for now-shuttered hip Union Square hangout Coffee Shop, according to clips from Thursday’s episode shared with The Post.

Rep Paul Gosar fired back at his former colleague Katie Hill after she criticized his Epstein tweets.

https://www.foxnews.com/politics/paul-gosar-katie-hill-jeffrey-epstein

"No[,] like this actually happened. Real members of Congress tweeting out real conspiracy theories. In an acrostic no less," Hill tweeted.

Gosar fired back, "You’re surprised by me? You single-handedly taught an entire country a new word. #throuple," Gosar reacted. "And wth is up with that tattoo? Relax."

"Throuple," which is a term to describe a three-person relationship, was the arrangement Hill reportedly had with her estranged husband and a female campaign staffer. Hill accused her estranged husband of leaking the nude photos as "revenge porn" amid their messy divorce. Hill's attorneys also vehemently denied allegations made in a DailyMail story that one of the nude photos shows a “Nazi-era Iron Cross” tattoo.

ABC still hasn't offered an explanation as to why they protected Epstein or why they retaliated against the alleged whistleblower.

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/opinion/abc-news-still-hasnt-explained-why-it-protected-jeffrey-epstein-or-why-it-retaliated-against-the-alleged-whistleblower

It has been eight days since the public first learned from a leaked video of journalist Amy Robach that ABC News executives in 2016 spiked her reporting on high-powered, globe-trotting pedophile Jeffery Epstein and his network of well-connected sexual predators.

It has been seven days since the public first learned that ABC conspired with CBS News to have an individual fired from her job with the latter because ABC suspected that she is the one who leaked the video.

It has been five days since the public first heard from the fired CBS producer, Ashley Bianco, that she was not the individual responsible for leaking ABC’s archival footage of Robach.

It has been one day since the public first learned that ABC is still hunting for the real leaker, who is apparently still employed by the network, and that top executives are reportedly “freaking out” over the anonymous employee’s secret identity.

In all this time, ABC has refused to provide the public with a credible or reasonable explanation for any of its actions. The news network has yet to explain, beyond offering dubious boilerplate statements about “editorial standards” (difficult to swallow, given how this, this, and thisapparently met ABC’s rigorous “editorial standards”), why it “quashed” Robach’s reporting on Epstein, even though she claims she had plane logs, pictures, and "everything" for the story.

And the news network has yet to explain why it is putting so much more effort into flushing out the leaker, going so far as to get a rival network to fire one of its own employees, than it ever put into flushing out the alleged head of a global network of child sexual abusers.

I cannot stress enough just how big of a media scandal this is.

So here's my question....what's to stop them from un-shelving the report now? They know it's a real and valid story at this point...let's see it. Where are these pics and what about Clinton? Once the Epstein story became big news they coukd have jumped on it...."we had it first"... but they didnt. Funny, they seem to still be covering up.

Exactly. Why didn't they report Robach's interview with Guiffre when Epstein was arrested back in July? This whole story was breaking big then. They still haven't released it.

Mark Epstein said in a new interview that his brother did not commit suicide and that he had a bail hearing coming up. He believes his brother was innocent of the charges and believed he'd get bail as there was no where his brother could hide. Mark seems to be in denial about how old a lot of the girls Epstein abused really were.

https://nypost.com/2019/11/14/jeffrey-epstein-was-innocent-didnt-commit-suicide-brother/

Jeffrey Epstein’s brother insists in a new interview that the financier’s shocking death behind bars was no suicide — and maintains that the convicted pedophile was “innocent” of new sex-trafficking charges against him.

“I could see if he got a life sentence, I could then see him taking himself out,” Mark Epstein, 65, told the Miami Herald of his late older brother. “But he had a bail hearing coming up.”

“He was innocent and, until proven guilty, you are entitled to bail in America,” Mark Epstein told the Herald. “He had a bail hearing in two days. … He was the most recognizable person on the planet. Where is he going to run and hide?”

Claiming that his brother was looking forward to his release — and revealing that “he was going to hire armed guards to keep an eye on him at his own expense” — Epstein maintained that his brother didn’t kill himself, and hinted that he was killed to keep him quiet.

“Jeffrey knew a lot of stuff about a lot of people,” he cryptically told the paper, declining to elaborate, but echoing a popular conspiracy theory that his brother was murdered.

“Do I think that it was inappropriate for him, at age 50 or 60, to be with women who were 18 or 20?” asked Epstein, who lives in New York. “Yes, but it certainly wasn’t illegal and it wasn’t sex-trafficking.”

Here's the story from the Miami Herald. There's more in the article than I quoted.

https://www.miamiherald.com/news/state/florida/article237242984.html

Mark Epstein gets angry when he is asked probing questions about his brother. He curses, insists the questions aren’t relevant and sometimes slams down the phone. Mostly, he defends his older brother, Jeffrey Epstein, insisting he wasn’t a sex trafficker at all.

“He was innocent and, until proven guilty, you are entitled to bail in America,’’ said Mark Epstein, Jeffrey Epstein’s only sibling, next of kin and likely heir to his brother’s estimated $500 million fortune.

Mark Epstein is talking, but only because he believes that his 66-year-old brother was killed, and he is challenging both the Department of Justice and New York City’s chief medical examiner. He insists the pathologist erred in concluding that his brother hanged himself in August at the federal Metropolitan Correctional Center.

“I could see if he got a life sentence, I could then see him taking himself out, but he had a bail hearing coming up,’’ said Epstein, a real estate mogul who says he knows very little about his late brother’s businesses — or his brother’s alleged sex crimes against underage girls and young women.

Mark Epstein, 65, lives in New York, where he grew up with his brother and parents in Brooklyn. He says at the time of his brother’s death, on Aug. 10, he had not seen him in seven years, and did not speak to him often.

“Jeffrey and I were not that close, we shared brother stuff, but I was not involved in what he was doing. When he first got in trouble he called me. We were very straight with each other. I wasn’t going to lecture him.’’

Mark says after his brother was released from jail in 2009, he reformed himself. Mark says to his knowledge, his brother didn’t do anything illegal with other girls or women after that time. He points out that most of the women coming forward with allegations post-2009 were women who were 18 or older.

Syria's Assad has also said that Epstein didn't kill himself. Everybody is getting in on this.

https://www.newsweek.com/syria-assad-jeffrey-epstein-didnt-kill-himself-1471868

Syrian President Bashar al-Assad has claimed that U.S. financier and convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein did not kill himself, but was the target of a Western conspiracy that also took the lives of other high-profile figures he claimed too knew too much.

Speaking to Russia's state-run Rossiya-24 station Thursday, Assad commented on the death of Syria Civil Defense co-founder James Le Mesurier, who died Monday after an apparent fall from his Istanbul apartment.

"American billionaire Jeffrey Epstein was killed several weeks ago, they said he had committed suicide in jail. However, he was killed because he knew a lot of vital secrets connected with very important people in the British and American regimes, and possibly in other countries as well," Assad told the outlet, as translated by the state-run Tass Russian News Agency.

President Bashar Assad of Syria said he believes that convicted sex offender Jeffrey Epstein did not kill himself.

"American billionaire Jeffrey Epstein was killed several weeks ago, they said he had committed suicide in jail. However, he was killed because he knew a lot of vital secrets connected with very important people in the British and American regimes, and possibly in other countries as well," Assad said Thursday, according to Newsweek.

Assad claimed that Epstein was part of a broader conspiracy by Western powers to kill high-profile people who knew lots of secrets, including Osama bin Laden and ISIS leader Abu Bakr al Baghdadi.

I'd like to know what sort of ways......because even figuratively speaking, a million ways is a lot of ways.

They should expose the Palace.  Andrew's already in over his head.  But no, ABC is staying quiet out of sheer embarrassment and I find it hilarious.  They are done and dusted in the public's eyes, at least the intelligent ones anyway.  ABC had their chance and now they look like the biggest liars, no matter which way they spin it.

There's no coming back for ABC.  Good riddance.

Mark Epstein, another denier.

You'd have to be as thick as a brick to believe Mark Epstein didn't know about his brother's antics.  It's not like Jeffrey was only doing this for a few weeks, this was decades long behaviour.

Epstein's alleged pimp threatened girl with 'many ways to die,' lawsuit claims

Quote

The billionaire pedophile’s alleged pimp snarled to the terrified teen: “There are many ways to die”.

One of two sisters who are suing the estate of fiendish financier Jeffrey Epstein is claiming that the woman seen as his top procurer of underage girls threatened her with death.

Socialite Ghislaine Maxwell was reportedly the woman behind the vile threat.

Maria Farmer, her younger sister Annie and an Ohio woman named Teresa Helm filed a new lawsuit in Manhattan federal court. They are seeking unspecified damages.

They have got to find Ghislaine.  She cannot be allowed to get away with this.

Ghislaine needs to come back to the US and face trial. Not lawsuits but a criminal trial for her role in Epstein's trafficking ring.

Mark is definitely in denial about what his brother was doing. He may not have agreed with what was going on but he didn't say anything to try and stop it either. "I wasn't going to lecture".

This is interesting.  I'm not sure I buy the William and Kate angle.  It's not like they couldn't report about them, they would just likely have lost up close and personal access for a while. But the threatening has what sounds like legal overtones to me. Maybe they were worried about lawsuits? I'm sure the palace retains a slew of lawyers.

Somewhere in this thread is a link to a story about how Kate feels about Prince Andrew. She doesn't want him near her husband or her children. I can believe she would feel like that. She doesn't want his reputation around her future king husband and I sure don't blame her for wanting to shield her kids.
