Epstein's victims and their attorneys are really speaking out about Ghislaine disappearing. Right now, I'm just happy that they are getting press coverage.

https://abcnews.go.com/US/victims-allege-ghislaine-maxwell-purposefully-evading-justice-system/story?id=68626164

Lawyers for several women suing Jeffrey Epstein’s longtime friend Ghislaine Maxwell contend that the 58-year-old British socialite has effectively vanished, frustrating their efforts to hold her accountable for her alleged role in the deceased financier’s sex-trafficking operation.

Since Epstein's arrest last July and his death in prison a month later, Maxwell's whereabouts have been the subject of intense scrutiny. Various press reports have placed her in Massachusetts, California, France and Israel, yet none of those sightings has been confirmed. Maxwell has sold her former residences in New York and London and shuttered her non-profit ocean conservation organization.

Meghan Markle doesn't like Prince Andrew much at all.

https://pagesix.com/2020/01/30/meghan-markle-troubled-by-ultimate-embarrassing-uncle-prince-andrew/

“Meghan is not enamored of Andrew at all,” a royal source told the Sun.

“Put it this way, she doesn’t view Andrew as one of the family’s great assets and he’s not going to be one of the people she’s going to miss on her time away from the Windsors,” the source said of Markle’s new life in Canada after quitting the royal family with husband Prince Harry.

“She views him as the ultimate embarrassing uncle.”

The relationship never took off, according to the report, with Markle telling friends that Andrew “wasn’t exactly welcoming to her” and was “stuffy and pompous.”

The trial for the two guards will begin on June 22nd.

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/jeffrey-epstein-jail-guards-to-stand-trial-in-june

At least one lawyer is expected to argue for a dismissal of the charges.

https://www.foxnews.com/us/jeffrey-epstein-prison-guard-dismissal-sought-scapegoat

A lawyer for one of the two guards on duty when disgraced financier Jeffrey Epstein killed himself argued Thursday that it was "highly likely" he would seek to dismiss criminal charges against his client on the grounds that he was unfairly targeted and made a scapegoat for security lapses in the Manhattan detention center.

Montell Figgins, the lawyer for Michael Thomas, said his client and co-defendant Tova Noel were "selectively prosecuted" to cover up serious "inadequacies" of the Federal Bureau of Prisons.

The fight over Epstein's estate gets more and more complicated.

https://www.mcclatchydc.com/news/investigations/article239790583.html

The attorney general of the U.S. Virgin Islands has asked a judge to let her get involved in the decision-making in the settlement of the estate of the disgraced financier. She has also objected to the creation of a victims’ compensation fund — at least one that would be run out of New York.

Among the recent claims on the estate was a legal bill totaling nearly $600,000. It is considered an interim tab.

Sorting out Epstein’s financial affairs and divvying up the proceeds were made more difficult when Epstein rewrote his will two days before he was found dead in his cell last August at a New York lockup, where he was awaiting trial on sex trafficking charges.

The TSA is looking at how to stop human trafficking at Teterboro Airport, where Epstein exploited weak security regulations to operate his sex trafficking ring. It was at Teterboro where he was arrested in July 2019.

Victim Dainya Nida would like Palm Beach County Chief Judge Krista Marx to reconsider her decision and release the 2006 Grand Jury records that may show why Epstein was only charged with solicitation of prostitution at that time.

Leslie Wexner is in talks to step down as the CEO of L Brands, his company that included Victoria Secrets and Bath and Body.

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/01/29/business/les-wexner-victorias-secret.html

But Mr. Wexner came under intense pressure for having employed Mr. Epstein as a personal adviser for years and handing him sweeping powers over his finances, philanthropy and private life. Mr. Epstein was empowered to borrow money on behalf of Mr. Wexner and sign Mr. Wexner’s tax returns, as well as hire people and make acquisitions. Over the years, Mr. Epstein obtained a mansion in Manhattan, a luxury estate in Ohio and a private plane — possessions worth roughly $100 million together today — that had previously been owned by Mr. Wexner or his companies.

I had to admit, I burst out laughing at the part where he came across as "stuffy and pompous"......I was thinking it must've been because he's just too honourable....You know how he is!

Wow! Hi Gwyn! So good to see you!! I hope your summer break was awesome! A whole lot has happened since you were last in here. I don't know how far back you read, but things got real interesting for a while there. Just ask if you need to. Hoping everyone you love is safe from the fires. Hoping to hear from you soon.

Andrew is being plenty pompous right now. The FBI wants to talk to him and he is not cooperating.

Thanks preacherman. I really do have strong feelings about this case. Nothing like this should ever happen to anyone, be it young girls or young boys, but it does, all the time. This particular case is even more important because of the social status of the people who helped Epstein, participated in what was going on, or looked the other way and said nothing. Like the victims said, all the adults around them acted like everything was normal, just life. It wasn't. Good for these victims who are speaking out in the courts and not letting what happened to them get pushed under a rug. They will make sure this is not forgotten. The cases haven't even  been heard in court yet. More are being filed, including a major one by the Virgin Islands. There will be more to come in the future.

Florida prosecutors released their entire Epstein case file today. It's the largest public records dump since Epstein was first investigated more than a decade ago. I'll be searching for this online.

https://nypost.com/2020/02/03/florida-prosecutors-release-trove-of-jeffrey-epstein-files/

The case file includes three videos of a walk-through of Epstein’s Palm Beach estate, audio recordings of interviews with suspects and other internal documents related to the office’s investigation.

Epstein's executors have liquidated and sold some of his assets.

https://www.miamiherald.com/news/state/florida/article239915658.html

Executors winding down the estate of disgraced financier Jeffrey E. Epstein have raised more than $1 million through the sales of his assets and account liquidations.

In a delayed court filing that had been extended until last Friday lawyers for Epstein’s estate showed that his net worth has increased by about $80 million since his death, and listed some of his pricey assets they’ve sold off.

These include several luxury cars, including a 2018 Bentley sold for $195,000 and a 2019 Mercedes Benz for $133,000. They did not disclose the purchasers.

In all, the executors said slightly more than $1 million has been raised from asset sales and liquidating four accounts tied to shell companies.

Executors also revised upward the value of his assets at time of death to more than $628 million. They said his cash on hand at the time of death was about $9.4 million and that following expenditures since then is now at about $7.6 million.

The revelations in court documents made public on Monday amid this week’s expected probate hearing in the U.S. Virgin Islands, where the attorney general has put a lien on the Epstein estate in a bid to seize the two islands there he owned.

Oh I do love this Susie!  I am so happy about this.  I'm even more happy to find out Wexner is in talks to do the same! WOW.  This is amazing.

I am really glad that a lot of this Epstein stuff has had somewhat of a flow-on affect to the Universities and all of the "donations" that these prestigious places have accepted over the years.  Not just from Epstein, but it's really opened people's eyes up to the idea that a lot of these types of places do accept monies from questionable figures......all in the name of research they appear to use as a common excuse.  I'm so glad people aren't as stupid as they used to be. :D

It's so good to see you back Gwyn! There needs to be a serious push for consequences for the people who knew and said nothing. Epstein could never have run the trafficking ring he did to such an enormous extent without all these people turning a blind eye. I really hope the women push the courts to bring out these people as well as prosecute the ones who actually aided and participated with him. I'm anxiously awaiting the court cases.

Courtney Wild will be a guest of California Representative Jackie Speier at Trump's State of the Union Address.

https://www.miamiherald.com/news/state/florida/article239915283.html

 https://nypost.com/2020/02/03/jeffrey-epstein-victim-will-be-at-state-of-the-union-as-california-reps-guest/

Courtney Wild, 31, is the namesake of a proposed bill aiming to prevent the kind of wrist-slap plea dealgranted to Epstein by federal prosecutors in Florida in 2008.

“Courtney’s bravery and dignity in the face of unfathomable treatment… and the resulting miscarriage of justice in that case deserves and demands the nation’s attention” said Rep. Speier, a Democrat, co-sponsoring the Courtney Wild Crime Victims’ Rights Reform Act of 2019.

Here's one of the videos released today of the inside of Epstein's Palm Beach home. Who could spend time in that home and not know Epstein's nature? All of his homes were like this. The inside of the Manhattan mansion and the Santa Fe ranch were even worse!
