Any sign of Ghislaine ? Is she still in the land of the living ?

As far as I know she is. She's been hiding in Europe and Israel from what I've seen, being protected by wealthy friends. The links are in here somewhere a few pages back. She was in contact with Prince Andrew but would not come out of hiding to help him after that disaster of an interview he gave. Now a judge has ruled that she can be served a lawsuit by email. That link is in the last page or two of the thread.

Seems to me she is a prime candidate for prosecution, being allegedly not only involved in procurement of underage girls, but also participated in some of the assaults. This whole episode is a very bad look for the US justice system.

They can't find her and I doubt she's anywhere in the US so they can't get her. Now she can be served to appear in court via email but it's likely she will need to be extradited if she's found. If she does come to the US, she'll be picked up and held. Same thing with Prince Andrew. They can't force him to come to the US and answer questions. It's not very likely that England will make him come here. The FBI has said they will accept him going to a British court and answering the questions under oath. But if he's issued a subpoena to appear to testify and doesn't, the court can issue a bench warrant and he can be detained if he does come to the US. As long as they are out of the country, they can't just be picked up. It's my understanding that Ghislaine may be up for prosecution. She is the first of the people accused of being accomplices to be served papers. As far as I know, Prince Andrew is not.

Just a quick google search, but Ghislaine is being served a summons to appear in court. (If she doesn't a warrant will be issued and she will be arrested if she enters the US.) There are more links now than when I originally searched the story.

Prince Andrew has now been linked to another billionaire who is accused of the rape and sodomy of teenagers in a federal class-action lawsuit. Billionaire fashion executive Peter Nygard is accused of luring "a slew of young, disadvantaged teens to his mansion in the Bahamas under the promise of fame and fortune". The lawsuit was filed on Thursday.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-8005623/Prince-Andrews-Bahamas-visit-SECOND-tycoon-facing-child-sex-claims.html

https://nypost.com/2020/02/15/prince-andrew-linked-to-fashion-tycoon-accused-of-raping-teens/

Nygard lured “a slew of young disadvantaged teens to his Bahamian mansion under the promise of fame and fortune,” then raped, sodomized and coerced them to engage in depraved fetishes, alleges the lawsuit, which was filed Thursday in Manhattan federal court.

And now it has come to light that in 2000, Andrew and ex-wife Sarah Ferguson stayed at Nygard Cay, near Nassau, Bahamas, with their daughters, Beatrice and Eugenie.

Pictures of the visit, obtained by the Daily Mail, show the prince and Nygard strolling together at the luxury estate.

The lawsuit also alleges Nygard used yachts to transport drugs and liquor for the parties and kept a database with the names of 7,500 “potential victims” for decades.

Here are links to the Apple Podcast...Truth and Lies: Jeffrey Epstein...which is released by ABC News. I first heard of this when ABC aired their 20/20 report and then didn't really look into it. Will need to listen to these.

https://www.vanityfair.com/news/2020/02/us-virgin-islands-ag-outraged-at-epstein-estate-efforts-to-control-case

In an exclusive interview with Vanity Fair, Attorney General Denise George accuses the estate of using nondisclosure agreements with Epstein’s victims and former employees to “conceal the criminal activity of Epstein and his associates who are still there.” Last month, George, who was Miss Virgin Islands in 1977, attended the Howard University School of Law, and returned to spend decades as a successful prosecutor, also placed liens on the estate in order to make sure his victims receive their due.

“If he owns anything else that’s not connected to here, then we will have no jurisdiction,” says George in her office in St. Thomas’s Government Employees’ Retirement System building. “As the investigation continues, we will find that out. But as of now, as far as what is in the estate, it appears that a well-substantial amount is connected to his entities right here in the Virgin Islands.”

The people who worked on Epstein’s island, tended to his various companies such as Southern Trust, drove his boats, piloted his planes, etc., probably know more about Epstein’s activities than anyone else—and all are likely bound by nondisclosure agreements. “An employee told me that he saw Prince Andrew on a balcony out at Little St. James groping girls right out in the open,” George says. “He said he remembered walking up to him and saying, ‘Good morning, your Highness.’”

Epstein's lawyers are claiming that because of the liens imposed on the estate by the district attorney for the Virgin Islands, they can't pay the workers or the bills for his estates.

https://www.thedailybeast.com/epstein-lawyers-claim-they-cant-pay-electric-bills-upkeep-for-vast-estate

The attorneys said the liens are crippling their efforts to sell off assets—with “insufficient funds” available for electric bills, pest-control services, upkeep for Epstein's aircraft and vehicles, and salaries for caretakers of his properties in Florida, New Mexico, and New York. Power may be turned off at properties soon, and payments for employee health insurance have allegedly bounced. They also said they could not pay for the defense of the “twenty-two lawsuits pending against the Estate arising from claims of sexual abuse by Mr. Epstein” as a result of the liens. Attorney General Denise George previously told the newspaper that she imposed the liens in late January because the lawyers were involved in fraud to win tax breaks while Epstein lived in the Virgin Islands.

Prince Andrew is being trolled by a school bus in London to cooperate with the FBI.

https://www.foxnews.com/world/prince-andrew-trolled-on-epstein-link-with-banner-draped-on-schoolbus

https://www.nbcnews.com/news/world/prince-andrew-urged-call-fbi-about-jeffrey-epstein-london-bus-n1140326

LONDON — A school bus has been spotted driving around London with two large pictures of Britain’s Prince Andrew on the side and a message telling people who see him to “ask him to call the FBI.”

The bus was driven past Buckingham Palace and through the upmarket Mayfair neighborhood in the center of the United Kingdom’s capital.

The sign said: “If you see this man please ask him to call the FBI to answer their questions."

Business Insider says it's victims' attorney Gloria Allred that sent the bus.

The Press Association reported that the blue poster on the side of the bus included the prince's photo and the following request: "If you see this man please ask him to call the FBI to answer their questions."

The poster also included the number to call the FBI from the UK, and the website of lawyer Gloria Allred, who according to PA is behind the stunt.

Here's the Miami Herald article about Epstein's estate bouncing checks.

https://www.miamiherald.com/news/state/florida/article240522331.html

The late sex offender Jeffrey Epstein was a man who without blinking an eye could cut a check to buy an island in the Caribbean or a private jet or a sprawling ranch. Those left to clean up his affairs now claim they can’t pay the bills to keep the lights on.

Lawyers for Epstein’s $600 million estate told a U.S. Virgin Islands court this week that liens imposed by the local attorney general leave them unable to compensate workers spread across the disgraced financier’s U.S. properties, a situation they say is hobbling efforts to sell off assets.

Ghislaine Maxwell intends to ignore the lawsuit she got via email, so I doubt she will be showing up for her court summons. She claims she never got it and wouldn't show up anyway according to a friend who has contact with her.

https://nypost.com/2020/02/20/ghislaine-maxwell-plans-to-ignore-lawsuit-maintains-innocence-friend-says/

The British media heiress, who has long been accused of procuring and training girls for pedophile Epstein, was served a complaint by email after a New York judge accepted the argument that she is proving too tough to physically trace.

Maxwell, 58, insists she has not received the complaint — and would not respond even if she had, close friend Laura Goldman told the Sun.

“My situation is incredibly frustrating. I’ve done nothing wrong,” Maxwell reportedly told Goldman, who insists she is in contact with the wanted woman from her hiding spot.

She never got it? And she knows about it how?

A woman who was instrumental in bringing the lawsuits against Epstein in New York was actually supposed to appear in court in Florida 11 years ago but was prevented from testifying when Epstein got the non-prosecution deal with the US Attorney's Office in Miami. A little long but a good article to read. Very good video at the beginning.

https://abcnews.go.com/US/exclusive-florida-feds-knew-york-victim-epstein-indictment/story?id=69088738

The woman's account could have helped prosecutors strengthen an already expansive case against Epstein, by potentially unraveling an alleged network of child sexual abuse at his Manhattan residence that mirrored what had been uncovered at his home in Palm Beach. But with the deal done, the federal grand jury was suspended, the investigation halted, and the subpoena to the woman, ultimately, withdrawn.

It wasn't until nearly 11 years later, when federal prosecutors in New York quietly opened a new investigation into Epstein, that the woman was again contacted by authorities seeking details of her alleged years-long sexual abuse by the multi-millionaire financier. Identified in last year’s indictment as “Minor-Victim 1,” she is the only alleged victim from New York whose allegations are specifically detailed in the charges, a strong indicator of her importance to the investigation.

According to the allegations contained in the indictment, the woman claimed she was initially recruited in 2002, at age 14, to provide massages to Epstein at his palatial Manhattan townhouse, and that she ultimately suffered sexual abuse that escalated over a period of years. Epstein allegedly enlisted one or more of his employees to schedule appointments with the girl and also encouraged, enticed and paid the teenager, whose family was in dire financial straits, to bring other young girls to engage in sex acts with him.

Weinstein was found guilty in 2 of the 5 charges and is facing up to 25 yrs in prison. Sentencing is scheduled to be on March 11th.

Apparently Weinstein was being transported to Riker's Island by ambulance and was rerouted to Bellevue Hospital. The reason why is unknown. This is a little fishy.

https://www.washingtonexaminer.com/news/harvey-weinstein-taken-to-hospital-on-way-to-prison

According to FOX, Weinstein experienced heart palpitations and high blood pressure on his way to prison.

This is backed up by Page Six, the NY Post. (faking?) And CNN.

US Attorney General Barr named a new director of the federal prison system Tuesday, continuing a leadership makeover after Epstein's suicide.

https://thehill.com/homenews/administration/484582-barr-names-new-federal-prisons-director-after-shakeup-following

https://www.usatoday.com/story/news/politics/2020/02/25/ag-barr-names-new-federal-prison-director-continuing-make-over/4872666002/

Michael Carvajal, a career Bureau of Prisons official who had been serving as an assistant director, was elevated to the top spot to succeed Kathleen Hawk Sawyer. Barr had appointed Hawk Sawyer to serve as director in the days after Epstein was found dead in his Manhattan jail cell, prompting a bureau-wide shakeup of the nation's largest prison system.

It seems New York prison officials are concerned with making sure Weinstein doesn't become another Epstein.

A Federal judge has again rejected the Miami Herald's attempt to get files from the Epstein case unsealed.

https://www.miamiherald.com/news/state/florida/article240689701.html

“There are very important, significant people who appear to have participated in these disgusting activities with Jeffrey Epstein, and we need to expose them … to make sure this doesn’t happen again,” Bohrer said. “They are hiding now and the judge says they are legally entitled to hide. There are names of people in there who did bad things … I don’t even know the names yet, because they have not been revealed yet.”

The decision is a setback, said Sanford L. Bohrer, a lawyer with Holland & Knight, which has represented the Herald in numerous Epstein matters. While an appeal is being considered, those who participated with Epstein in the sexual abuse of minors can breathe easier, he lamented.

Hi Gwyn. Good to see you. I hope all is well with you and your family. I saw the notifications that you were in here catching up. A lot has happened but I haven't posted in here because everything is the coronavirus. It's spreading all over the US and now my state is testing it's first possible case.
