Why don't you guys all move to the West Coast and start your own country? I here it's lovely in L.A. this year, with all the colorful homeless camps sprouting up, everywhere. If you guys want to get away from us, why not start your own--or just put us all on ignore.

Truly im not only worried about half of the voices nor am I only worried about half the country. Thats part of why I was screaming about the wall emergency declaration. The precedent set there is going to make you guys lose your ****ing minds if a liberal ever takes office again. Honestly me too most likely. You guys are so fixated on getting the "win" over the "other side" that you either dont think about or simply no longer care about the long term effects of the short term "win".

This is another one of those situations. Think about if it were President AOC suggesting this executive order, would you be for it? OF COURSE NOT. The problem is it could be her, or someone further to the left of her, who eventually inherits the EO and its authorities.

Anyways as a career public safety professional I can pretty much choose to live wherever I want not because im rich, every town needs a place for the service staff to live, but because of what I do. So like Rainbow Trout I simply dont live in ugly places.

Because I suspect that the document does not exist; at least, not in the form that CNN reports.  This whole thing smacks of an anti-Trump scare story

If you honestly believe that established, respected news outlets just outright make up stories like this then you're living in an alternate reality. Falsifying a story such as this could in seriousness sink a news outlet like CNN. Reporting incorrect facts before correcting them (as CNN has done in the past) and putting what you perceive to be a liberal slant on reporting, are in a completely different world to outright fabrication of stories.

If a respectable news outlet like CNN (or Politico, who actually broke the story) did this, they would lose masses of their readership. If one of the right wing propaganda outlets in the US did so, they'd be called Breitbart and FOX and they'd actually gain readers, as evidenced by their having done so in the past.

Funnily enough, CNN IS sinking !  

I take you point. However, providing they can justify the story to their editors, by showing their notes of the discussions with the three "sources", then they are safe. They don't need to sorry about whether the sources are actually ACCURATE or not
