cnn fact checking?????, that is a hilarious irony in itself, lmao

here are facts about exports to japan,  not from CNN but from us trade representative,

Exports

  • Japan was the United States' 4th largest goods export market in 2018.

  • U.S. goods exports to Japan in 2018 were $75.0 billion, up 10.9% ($7.4 billion) from 2017 and up 15.1% from 2008.  U.S. exports to Japan account for 4.5% of overall U.S. exports in 2018.

  • The top export categories (2-digit HS) in 2018 were: mineral fuels ($8.8 billion), machinery ($8.2 billion), optical and medical instruments ($7.5 billion), aircraft ($6.5 billion), and electrical machinery ($4.8 billion).

  • U.S. total exports of agricultural products to Japan totaled $13 billion in 2018, our 3rd largest agricultural export market. Leading domestic export categories include: corn ($2.8 billion), beef & beef products ($2.1 billion), pork & pork products ($1.6 billion), soybeans ($947 million), and wheat ($698 million).

  • U.S. exports of services to Japan were an estimated $45.4 billion in 2018, 2.2% ($1.0 billion) less than 2017, but 14.2% greater than 2008 levels.  Leading services exports from the U.S. to Japan were in the travel, transport, and intellectual property (industrial processes) sectors.

again CNN LIES and shills are spreading it.

You realise what you've actually done here is prove that Trump lied? Right?

I mean, no one's stupid enough to not realise that as they type it? Surely?

Democrats are so foolish. Babies in cages are "outrageous" but discarded babies are "planned parenthood" So they can spare me their false concern on anything.

Whereas Republicans only care about children until they are born. So they can spare me their false concern over abortions.

Why do you believe that, simply because FOX contradicts Clinton News Network and the rest of the drive-by media?

Because there is actual data that shows it to be fact.

I'm sorry. I probably need to explain. I use the word "Fact" in thenold way. A "Fact" is what we used to call a piece of information was known or proven to be true. I.e. the sun is hot. Car go vroom. These days, however, a fact is apparently just whatever the hell you want it to be.

So, funny story.  Last night I put on CNN, and they were fact checking Trump's speech in PA.  He was talking about Japan, and how they buy nothing from us, except wheat.  And they only buy wheat to make us feel good.  And they're laughing at us.  Well, the fact check showed that Japan was our 5th largest exporter, something like $300 billion, and wheat wasn't even our largest agricultural export to Japan.  My wife asked me why people don't care that he makes up fake stories like that.  I had to tell her, that it's because they will never know.  Fox News will never say that he is lying about it, and the people that support him will never watch CNN.  They take what he says as fact.  Politicians lie, I know.  BUT, most politicians spin to make their lies half truths.  The blatant lies that we see now, are unprecedented.  This man literally stood in front of Soldiers and told them they were getting a 10% raise AFTER he signed a bill authorizing 2. something percent.  Madness.

Here's what trump said:

"I told Prime Minister Abe — great guy — I said, ‘Listen, we have a massive deficit with Japan.’ They send thousands and thousands — millions — of cars. We send them wheat. Wheat. That’s not a good deal. And they don’t even want our wheat. They do it because they want us to at least feel that we’re okay. You know, they do it to make us feel good.

"But the deficit is massive, which is changing rapidly. But what they're doing is, they're buying a lot of our stuff, including our military equipment."

The truth, is quite different. As posted, wheat is barely 1% of what Japan buys from us. The deficit isn't changing rapidly. It's actually slowly getting worse. Military equipment only accounts for about 1.8% of what they buy.

I know facts are difficult these days for some people, but basically, trump lied or he really just that dumb.

So...the only context in that statement you claim is untrue is the deficit changing slowly as opposed to rapidly...he gave no percentages in his statement...so basically your definition of "He lied' is false. He said rapidly and you state slowly....other than that I see no indication of a lie.

What is funny to me is...Lib's will use any context to say Trump lied.If Trump said..."ya know...the Sun looks a really strong Yellow today...I bet it's really hot is Arizona."

CNN and the rest of the Lib's will have headlines stating that Trump Lies again..!!! Claiming that it was only 85 deg in Arizona today and the Sun was actually Orange today and not Yellow...oh and the Solar flares were actually Weak today not strong as Trump stated. Then they would proceed to have a laugh and say how dumb he is..and how racist he is...etc..etc.

You people kill me with this crap. You're so blinded by your TDS you can't even understand simple English...instead you make up a narrative that suits you and run with it. For the life of me I can't understand how the minds of people like that work..?

Did you just ignore everything besides his quote? What he said is completely untrue. They don't buy our wheat to make us feel good. They barely buy any wheat.

You are so blinded by your love of dear leader that you no longer have basic reading comprehension.

To be fair.  I would have to say Trump supporters do face stigmas when they go out.  My Trump supporter friends won't wear MAGA hats when they go eat, for example, because they prefer their food saliva and fecal matter free.  Perhaps if Trump were less insulting all the time, his followers and minions wouldn't be bearing the brunt of the wrath of those he angers?

Not to mention, lately people get randomly attacked for just wearing patriotic clothes or having an American flag. Patriotism has been linked to white supremacy and Trump so many times by left wing news sites it has become almost taboo.

I never thought I'd ever see anything like want to be socialists have done.

Patriotosm isn't and never has been the problem. That's a fantasy that conservatives push rather than address the actual issue which is the rising white nationalism in their own party.

Seeing as I'm only fiscally conservative, being supportive of LGBT, minority rights and all, I can't blame things on "my party". I'll just leave this here.

Love and tolerance: Skyrocketing number of violent attacks on Trump supporters in MAGA hats

https://www.lawenforcementtoday.com/attacks-trump-supporters-maga-hats/

There is a reason schools are slowly no longer allowing students to wear American flag T-shirts and other patriotic apparel. It's too dangerous. You'll have to find another search engine besides Google to easily find it.

Portland protests: 13 arrested as police declare civil disturbance (live updates)

Portland police made arrests around town -- 13 by 3:30 p.m. -- as people posted video of the confrontations, including black-clad protesters breaking the windows out of a bus that was said to carry Proud Boys supporters. One person arrested on the east side was bleeding from the head.

Elsewhere, a large group of left-wing protesters encircled a man and what appeared to be a young girl in American-flag garb, taunting, threatening and chasing them.

Police, who counted about 1,200 demonstrators, said they were scrambling to continue to try to keep the opposing groups apart. They also reported four injuries, all minor, including a person officer found hurt and sent to a hospital.

At 3:30 p.m., with the clashes abating, a group of left-wing protesters gathered at Pioneer Square and streets near it, where they continue to march and chant, blocking streets and prompting the civil disturbance declaration from police.

I never understood why wearing American Flag clothing was considered patriotic.  The flag code specifically mentions this:

"The flag should never be used as wearing apparel, bedding, or drapery. It should never be festooned, drawn back, nor up, in folds, but always allowed to fall free. Bunting of blue, white, and red, always arranged with the blue above, the white in the middle, and the red below, should be used for covering a speaker’s desk, draping the front of the platform, and for decoration in general."
-4. US Code 8 Respect for Flag

Wearing flag clothing is the same level of disrespect as all the other flag abuses.  Not patriotic at all.

Democrats don't need rallies every week to reinforce their tiny, tiny egos

I think part of the problem is that actual Nazis are putting on the American flag and using the false patriotism as a shield.  Patriotism is what you do, not the clothing you wear or going to a rally for some draft dodger.
