All righty folks... Let's drop the topic of how homosexuality may happen please. Discuss the OP topic of the cake lawsuit.

The customer wanted the Christian bakers to bake a cake with a political statement on it which said 'Support Gay Marriage'.  They were not willing to bake such a cake for this understandable reason.  e.g. What if I walked in and asked them to bake a cake in the shape of genitals, or bake a nice big Swastika cake.  The customer is not being discriminated.  Their request is simply being denied because of the nature of their request.  Nothing more to it.  Here in Northern Ireland same-sex marriage is illegal and frowned upon by many.  There are quite a number of demonstrations and acts of protest to make it legal and bring attention to it.  This cake shop could simply be a small matter that has been intentionally blown by an activist, and also the media because of the nature of the progressive left leaning media these days, which has a habit of making those who lean towards the right look like racists and 1950's stereotypes.  The recent fire in Belfast which destroyed the historic Primark building was cheered by some because the building was celebrating gay pride shortly before the building was destroyed by fire.  Customers complained about the promotion of gay pride and when the building was destroyed soon after it was considered by some to be an act of God.  The matter of the cake shop is just a small drop in the ocean when it comes down to the religious divisions here in Northern Ireland.  Just part of the never changing culture here which has lasted for centuries.

Sorry, you're criticizing the "progressive left" (anyone who uses the word 'progressive' always thinks it a bad thing), and celebrating (or at least tolerating) ancient, bible-driven bigotry? "Frowned upon by many" ; I love the "many" to justify your ancient hatreds.
