Gwynbleidd Posted August 30, 2019 #2 Share Posted August 30, 2019 Aww this is sad. Poor little thing. Quote Sadly it is not thought that the hatchling will live very long due to its mutation. "It couldn't really swim," said marine biologist Amber Kuehn. "One head governed one side (of the turtle's body) on the front, and other head governed the other flipper. They weren't working together." 2
Still Waters Posted August 30, 2019 #3 Share Posted August 30, 2019 I always think it's sad to see any wildlife with two heads.

The cycle of life and things die and then it all happens over again. I just felt sad for the poor little thing, especially when they said it couldn't swim well as both sides worked independently of each other. I have more sympathy for wildlife than humans these days, the way humans treat each other.
Almighty Evan Posted August 30, 2019 #6 Share Posted August 30, 2019 (edited) Two-headed sea turtle found in South Carolina It couldn't really swim," said marine biologist Amber Kuehn. "One head governed one side (of the turtle's body) on the front, and other head governed the other flipper. They weren't working together. These are two sea turtles, dicephalic parapagus twins. We do not call Abigail and Brittany Hensel a "two-headed human". https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Abby_and_Brittany_Hensel Edited August 30, 2019 by Almighty Evan
