Halloween (1978) 2. American Werewolf In London 3. Creepshiow 4. Maximum Overdrive 5. Pet Semetary 1&2 6. Friday The 13th 7. Dawn of The Dead (1978) 8. House 9. Carrie 10. I also liked the latest Halloween, looks like there are two sequels to follow: https://www.slashfilm.com/halloween-sequels/ Also I would put the 1st Nightmare on Elm Street movie. Silent Hill 3. The Fog (original) 4. The Shining 5. Theatre of Blood 6. Killer Klowns from Outer Space 7. Dawn of the Dead (1978) 8. World War Z 9. Halloween 10. Texas Chainsaw Massacre (original) When I was a kid my top 5 was: Hocus Pocus Labyrinth When Good Ghouls Go Bad Ernest Scared Stupid Mel Brooks: Young Frankenstein An honorable mention for Jaws, Beetlejuice, and the classic TV horror: It (1990).
