Six-headed burial perplexes archaeologists

Recommended Posts

The taking of heads of defeated enemies, and proudly displaying them was an ancient Celtic custom. Perhaps these two still followed it - though it would be a bit outdated by the 15th century...

" And when the stars go out
You can hear me shout
"Two heads are better than none,
One hundred heads are so much better than one".
