Are you looking for an argument? Because that's what it looks like. As for as I can tell the shroud has been debunked. In my personal opinion, if you want to solidify a faith, you create an icon that does it. Even if that icon is fake.

There are many different methods that could have been used, but the chruch will not allow a rigorous examination which would let us know for certain. This withholding leads directly to asinine threads like this one.

Please guys,, there is no known method of making images as a negative (and on cloth) and putting it at the microscopic level only affecting the top few fibers. Just to see the image you would have to stand 10 foot away.
