Eldorado Posted September 9, 2019 #1 Share Posted September 9, 2019 "Quality Street has reduced the weight of its classic, seasonal tub from 720g to 650g as a new chocolate has been added to the assortment for Christmas. "Some may be disappointed to discover that the new 650g tub has the same RRP as last year's 720g tub, which is £7.74." +OverSword Posted September 9, 2019 #5 Share Posted September 9, 2019 I feel your pain. Small chocolate bars here have been shrinking steadily too. Now they're really just a sweet tease.

Yeah, being really fit and eating healthy foods doesn't necessarily make you live longer - it just *seems* longer.... From that image, I'm a nineties sorta guy.. Well he's living in the 1950s, of course he's miserable Also I'm kinda skeptical about the idea that people back then were super fit and healthy... While I'd agree they weren't super healthy/fit, I reckon if you were to examine crowd photos from the 1950's, you'd see overweight folks were much rarer. Personal anecdotally, I don't recall a single 'large' person in my friends or family in the 60's as I grew up, but now I know quite a few, and I've put on a few pounds meself (although I can happily say I am getting it down quite nicely at the moment ) ....
