Do you deny the miracle of no other God but Allah (swt) giving his messenger Mohammad (pbuh) the power to cleave the moon in two, and to renew it?

Quran (Pickthall)

"054.001 The hour drew nigh and the moon was rent in twain.
054.002 And if they behold a portent they turn away and say: Prolonged illusion.
054.003 They denied (the Truth) and followed their own lusts. Yet everything will come to a decision
054.004 And surely there hath come unto them news whereof the purport should deter,
054.005 Effective wisdom; but warnings avail not.
054.006 So withdraw from them (O Muhammad) on the day when the Summoner summoneth unto a painful thing. "

300px-Mohammed_Splits_the_Moon.jpg

"104.001 Woe unto every slandering traducer,
104.002 Who hath gathered wealth (of this world) and arranged it.
104.003 He thinketh that his wealth will render him immortal.
104.004 Nay, but verily he will be flung to the Consuming One.
104.005 Ah, what will convey unto thee what the Consuming One is!
104.006 (It is) the fire of Allah, kindled,
104.007 Which leapeth up over the hearts (of men).
104.008 Lo! it is closed in on them
104.009 In outstretched columns."

You mean "I Doom".

doom___pinky_demon_blocks_the_exit_by_el

Quran (Pickthall)

"025.065 And who say: Our Lord! Avert from us the doom of hell; lo! the doom thereof is anguish;
025.066 Lo! it is wretched as abode and station;"

Is that a screenshot from an actual game!? :o Or is it just fan art? Cause that woukd be awesome if the remade the original with graphics like that.

I know they did Doom 2016 (which is my favorite FPS to date), just thought this would be cool as well. Even if it's just fan art, it's pretty damn good.

Or these "errors" are no more grievous than the many others in the entire panoply of human failings, and where would God end the interference ?

So, how is the process of completely discrediting the authorship of a document by mis-explaining a physical process of nature like human reproduction which any Omniscient Being should know, not worthy of interference?  Humans are now well aware of the use of sperm and ova, so why doe the Quran tell us that humans come from a clot of blood?  All claim of divine authorship can be thrown out immediately, and all faith in Allah with it, as a result of this factual error.  As god is perfect, he cannot make mistakes.  As god knows all, he knows when mistakes are made in his name.  As god is all powerful, he has the ability to ensure that only the truth is told about him.  As god is completely benevolent, he must not allow lies to be told about him that will last in perpetuity in scripture.  This error in the Quran is thus an error of God, and an admission that the Quran is a document of human authorship, not divine, as Mohammed obviously lied.  If Mohammed lied about this, then how much more did he lie about?  And thus the tissue of lies unravels...

I think you are assuming too much, imagining a "creature" God that has "concerns", and ought to act on them. I know no such thing.

A clot of blood? Your error is in the translation used. Marmaduke Pickthall is best. Yes.

The Quran is most accurate in that once impregnated a clot/lump/mass becomes a fully developed child.

"Following fertilization, the zygote undergoes a series of mitotic cell divisions forming initially a solid ball of cells"

https://embryology.med.unsw.edu.au/embryology/index.php/BGDA_Practical_3_-_Early_Cell_Division

Clot definition: a thick mass of coagulated liquid/clump/mass

Quran (Pickthall)

"096.002 Createth man from a clot."

"040.067 He it is Who created you from dust, then from a drop (of seed) then from a clot, then bringeth you forth as a child, then (ordaineth) that ye attain full strength and afterward that ye become old men - though some among you die before - and that ye reach an appointed term, that haply ye may understand."

"023.012 Verily We created man from a product of wet earth;
023.013 Then placed him as a drop (of seed) in a safe lodging;
023.014 Then fashioned We the drop a clot, then fashioned We the clot a little lump, then fashioned We the little lump bones, then clothed the bones with flesh, and then produced it as another creation. So blessed be Allah, the Best of creators!"

"004.082 Will they not then ponder on the Qur'an ? If it had been from other than Allah they would have found therein much incongruity."

So, wet earth, "seed" and a drop of clotted blood, then add some bones and meat. LOL.  Obviously women contribute nothing to the process.  Nothing like, say, the crucial ovum which is essential for organizing the proteins that actually do the work?  Nope, women contribute mud, as it is mud that makes their wombs fertile like soil, no doubt.  Now why would an all-knowing deity make such a chump mistake as to not include such important information?  Last I checked, no earth is actually required in human reproduction either.  Also, why so coy about talking of semen?  Or does the author actually mean humans produce seeds like plants?  I know that some ancient authors were under similar misapprehensions such as believing that frogs turn into geese and fly south for the winter, and moose have no knees.  Clearly this entire passage is completely scientifically ridiculous and without foundation in fact.  Why are you even trying to defend it Dav?  Is this some sort of exercise in absurdist humor?

You do not see abiogenesis, and the human reproduction system in the verses?

Verily Allah (swt) pulled a veil over your eyes for kindling of the fire. Yes.

Quran is perfect, and Muhammad  (pbuh) as prophet is just as.

That is a ridiculous form of abiogenesis.  We know that humans evolved from a series of other hominids, and them from simpler creatures.  How do we know?  We have unlocked our genetic code thanks to the human genome project.  In any case, the notion that a bit of dirt, a bit of blood, a bit of meat and a bit of bone can somehow make a person if utterly ridiculous.  It presupposes that all pieces of dirt, bone, and meat are equivalent, when they aren't at all.  What happens when you graft a piece of bone from an animal into a human being? What about when you graft a piece of flesh from an animal into a human?  The answer is savage rejection from the immune system.  As to incorporating dirt into a human body, that is utterly out of the question, and would cause terrible infection, especially in an entity in its earliest form.

Simply put you combine dirt, blood, flesh and bone, all you get is something only a pig would eat.  You certainly don't get life, other than mirco-organisms that feed on death.  You most certainly never get a living breathing human being.  This whole passage is the work of a primitive mind that lacks any understanding of how bodies form and function biologically.  By the time a human being enters highschool, they should be able to see why such a passage is foolish, from their lessons in grade school biology and basic medicine they learn from everyday life.

In a way... We are all made from dirt. :innocent:

Humans eat plants and other animals. Plants grow by pulling water and materials from the dirt. Even plants grown in water use the minerals in the water that came from the water at some point sifting down through the dirt.

Humans are recycled water and recycled dirt.

So Quran is somewhat right here. But then they took the idea from the Jews, so...... Not their own Original idea then.

You should fall prostrate, and beg the creator for forgiveness for your mischief. Then Allah (swt) willing will remove the covering from your eyes, and heart.

Quran (Pickthall)

"22.016 Thus We reveal it as plain revelations, and verily Allah guideth whom He will."

The Jews were the first to misrepresent the words of the creator. Yes.

Here's further proof.

Muhammad (pbuh) was too shy to ask dinner guests to leave after a meal, but Allah (swt) knew whilst giving this revelation.

Quran (Pickthall)

"033.053 O Ye who believe! Enter not the dwellings of the Prophet for a meal without waiting for the proper time, unless permission be granted you. But if ye are invited, enter, and, when your meal is ended, then disperse. Linger not for conversation. Lo! that would cause annoyance to the Prophet, and he would be shy of (asking) you (to go); but Allah is not shy of the truth. And when ye ask of them (the wives of the Prophet) anything, ask it of them from behind a curtain. That is purer for your hearts and for their hearts. And it is not for you to cause annoyance to the messenger of Allah, nor that ye should ever marry his wives after him. Lo! that in Allah's sight would be an enormity."

Why do the celestial objects, the hills, the trees, and beasts pay adoration to Allah (swt) if it was not true?

"022.018 Hast thou not seen that unto Allah payeth adoration whosoever is in the heavens and whosoever is in the earth, and the sun, and the moon, and the stars, and the hills, and the trees, and the beasts, and many of mankind, while there are many unto whom the doom is justly due. He whom Allah scorneth, there is none to give him honour. Lo! Allah doeth what He will."

Even shadows pay homage to the creator. Yes...

"016.048 Have they not observed all things that Allah hath created, how their shadows incline to the right and to the left, making prostration unto Allah, and they are lowly?"

Then you have proof of a billion plus that know who knows best.

Save your religious fascism for someone else.  I live in a free country where people are entitled to freedom of conscience and freedom of religion, not one where you get murdered for questioning the stupid things in religious scripture.  Young people from the Middle East are leaving Islam in droves because it is a killer cult, and all the "good" muslims want to murder them.  I have already proven that the Quran is wrong, because there are mistakes in "Allah's holy text", and that means your god is not all powerful, or perfect, or all knowing or even mildly good or holy. In fact your whole conception of the Godhead in Islam is as evil as the people who came up with it, and they were a pack of shabby bedouin slavers who routinely performed atrocities, and guess what, their descendants still do.  Islam has no claim to any legitimate moral philosophy as a result. as it doesn't even understand the golden rule.  It is a religion that even a caveman would know is evil, so why don't you know that?  What is wrong with your moral insight?  Has your religion made you a morally defective person Davros?  I fear it must have.

Quran 8:55-57 Surely the worst creatures in the sight of Allah are the apostates, those who definitively denied the truth and are therefore in no way prepared to accept it, (especially) those with whom you entered into a covenant and then they broke their covenant time after time, and who do not fear Allah.  So if you meet them in jihad, make of them a fearsome example of them such that those who follow them will see the atrocity you have committed upon them and be admonished.

Quran 8:67 - It is not for the Prophet that he should have prisoners of war until he has made a great slaughter in the land.

What a lovely sentiment.  What a gentle and peaceful religion.  What good people Islam has inspired to make the world a better place.  How advanced Islamic countries are.  How peaceful.  How civilized.  How much they contribute to human rights, social justice, science and technology.  You know a tree by its fruit.

In closing...

The noble Quran is open to scrutiny, logic, and reason.

Quran (Pickthall)

"014.052 This is a clear message for mankind in order that they may be warned thereby, and that they may know that He is only One God, and that men of understanding may take heed."

"016.125 Call unto the way of thy Lord with wisdom and fair exhortation, and reason with them in the better way. Lo! thy Lord is Best Aware of him who strayeth from His way, and He is Best Aware of those who go aright."

Islam is a religion of peace. This is through either the whole world is Islam, judgement day, or whatever comes first.
