They are dangerous fauna, not worth the risk, can't have people looking up into the sky every time they go for a walk.

• I was followed across an entire suburb in Canberra by a Pee-wee (Magpie lark);
• A currawong has come up and clicked in my ear - apparently they don't swoop;
• Don't go near noisy miners young;
• Swans in Canberra get aggressive towards small children;
• Pelicans will harass small children too.

I think you should stay inside. The birbs are not the problem here.

You are right, I always wear a hat and sunglasses, when I take a walk along the local bikeway, to forestall magpies, but have yet to be swooped by one along there, however have by  two crows, and numerous Noisy Miners.

It's really just birds doing what birds do to protect nests and young I was lucky enough to visit a tern colony a while back it was an all out attack on us humans ....... what an experience though
