Snowden exposed the criminal voyeurism program of the USA which allowed the Government to get inside your bedroom via your webcam.  Totally immoral. They should give him the medal of honor!

Others are saying to hang him.

The whole thing around Snowden is a mess.  He is in Russia because he would be prosecuted in the U.S.  If he wants to come home he needs a good attorney.  I think him going to Russia and maybe even exposing the information was not well thought out.

Nah, that would just fire up the conspiridiots. It's better to press criminal charges and discredit him.

Actually, in America today, it is.  He has zero chance for justice yet Bradley Manning - who should have been straight up executed - was rewarded for his spying.

It can be if you have signed a non-disclosure contract with the government.

I understand what you're saying but I think you are confusing what is moral versus what is LEGAL.  These days, the two are often unrecognizable.  That's a big part of the reason that our nation is coming apart at the seams.

Snowden is a hero b/c now I have taken steps to block the voyeurism from the government into my bathroom or bedroom or any part of my house. Its called alerting everyone to a crime. Is it fair he gets the death penalty for it? No.

Its also fair to say if someone had told all the people what the trains were for, it would had been much harder for the SS.
