Outrage as blue shark is cooked and served

Conservationists have criticised an event during a seafood festival in which a shark was paraded through a British port city before being chopped up, cooked and served to onlookers.

The blue shark, a near-threatened species, was hoisted in the air by two men and carried through Plymouth, Devon, before being deposited on a stage where it formed part of a cookery demonstration.

Serves them right for making such a meal out of it, what's wrong with a simple portion of fish and chips, if it's good enough for Boris it should be good enough for anybody else....

All these animal killers, people not caring if an animal is endangered or not, [in some cases an animal of an endangered species gives hunters all the more reason to destroy them - before they go extinct!?!] should be thought of in the same way one might think of a psychopath or a sociopath. Sick in the head and a danger to the planet.

To be fair and accurate, the blue shark is a "near threatened" species, which doesn't mean endangered. Here's the scale for that:

LT - least concern

NT - near threatened

VU - vulnerable

EN - endangered

CR - critically endangered

EW - extinct in wild

EX - extinct from existence

Well, as I said, it doesn't matter if the animal is endangered or not, people will still go ahead and kill them, hunt them.

Look at the LC = Least Concern. All that shows is heartlessness and carelessness towards the animals. The sociopaths tendency in full view.

Animals are a bit tough if you don't kill them before eating, keeping them on the plate is also a problem.
