Still Waters Posted September 17, 2019 #1 Share Posted September 17, 2019 A Missouri woman is fighting to keep three monkeys she claims have provided her emotional support for years. Texanne McBride-Teahan may lose possession of the animals after a neighbor in Creve Coeur, a suburb of St. Louis, spotted one monkey outside roughly a month after McBride-Teahan moved in, according to CNN affiliate KMOV. Monkeys are considered an "inherently dangerous animal" along with alligators, lions and pythons and are thus prohibited in residential areas, according to the City of Creve Coeur. https://edition.cnn.com/2019/09/15/us/emotional-support-monkeys-texanne-mcbride-teahan-trnd/index.html 1

aztek Posted September 17, 2019 #3 Share Posted September 17, 2019 (edited) we have a family in Brooklyn who has a rare monkey, they fought in court and were allowed to keep it, they walk it outside on a leash like it is a dog, and it is the size of a lab, i can't imagine how much it cost them to win the case, but they live in an area where houses prices start from several millions, i have seen them walk it several times, Edited September 17, 2019 by aztek 1
