Pianist photographs ghostly woman in theater

I see some folks are thinking this could just be a women who walked in as he was taking the pic's. Which I guess is possible. What I find unlikely is that he wouldn't have noticed her.

I think that pic of what appears to be someone sitting in the chair to her right is really interesting as well.

Hu? That isn't even close to true.

Well it's an over simplification in response to the previous post, perhaps I should have prefaced it 'some' or 'many' but I'm really referring to the true believer types that see ghosts in every smudge and shadow

If you're a believer who is prepared to dismiss this kind of evidence when a better explanation is presented then more power to you

I tend to agree, though he evidently didn't notice the guy in Pics 2 or 3 either (and I think we can all agree he isn't a ghost) so that says a lot about how much he was paying attention..

Then again dark theatre and bright lights, I'm not surprised he couldnt make out details at the time, and it seems he only checked the photos later

Or.. you know.. hes lying..that's always a possibility

I’m not able to dismiss the idea that the guy in the seat isn’t a ghost. Assuming he was telling the truth and snapped 3 quick pics. Just because he wasn’t in the other pictures. If his story is true, this guy appeared, then disappeared, within a second or two

Or he could be lying lol. I don’t know who he is, or what his reputation is among the people who know him. So I really couldn’t say either way.

He didn't even notice her in the third pic. That was the claim, she was only in the middle one, but clearly, she is walking away the the 3rd one. It doesn't seem unreasonable that if wasn't paying and real attention and took 3 quick pics, that he just didn't notice her at the time either.

That seems more likely than proof of ghosts, would you not agree?

I think the pics are legit.   Tap, tap, tap....

First picture a dancing chick is about to enter the picture....Second picture she has obviously danced to the other side ....Third picture she has danced her way totally out of the scene....

I would agree that it’s certainly possible.

I honestly feel the third photo completely removes the mystery.

Well based on the information we've  been given we have to either accept that both are ghosts or neither are (or he's playing paranormal bingo and scored himself a teleporter for bonus points)

Given the choice between 2 elusive ghosts showing up at once in one photo (one who appears to be dressed in modern clothing and the other who is about the loosest interpretation of the 'lady in a white dress' trope I've ever seen) or a guy exaggerating how close together the photos were taken.. I know which I'd say is more likely

Long time lurker and first time poster here. As I've been reading UM for a long time now, I know many of the active posters and have learnt something about their nature and personality. I dig Papageorge and his papameter a lot! Papageorge often behaves rationally and explains himself well, even when skeptics come down hard on him! I could say I'm about 50/60 believer/skeptic myself, so I don't automatically "ally with him", when he suggests that something is more paranormal than not.

Papageorge gets way too much hate on these forums. I was actually very surprised when I started visiting UM.com - there are many more skeptics here than believers, it seems? At least in the people who comment most often? It's refreshing though, as the site isn't 100% overrun by believers as I first thought? As long as we can respect each other when talking about things, it's all good!

Anyways there is one way that Papageorge might be my man: he just has to be Red Wings fan!? :D Of course there are many sport teams in Detroit, but as a hardcore ice hockey fan - as we Finns usually are - Red Wings is my pick of the Hockeytown and of the whole NHL. The drought has been way too long - maybe it has something to do with the climate? ;P - but it's time to take the Cup back again!

Now I just digress though, so back to the original idea of my post: as long as we can all respect each other and get along, UM.com is one of the best places to hang on the interwebs. Of course that is just my personal opinion, but there are very few sites I visit as frequently as UM.com. Happy to be a forum member after this as well. :)

Are you actually a new member or are you someone with a puppet account? Honest question.  Because I've never seen anyone get fanboy'd on here like this.

No doubt - especially for someone who couldn't deserve being fanboy'd any less.

Like as have a crush on him? you seem to not just dig him but be down right looney about him.

sorry i dont share your opinions, pg is a biased gullible blind faith true believer who denounces logic, science and rational thinking as quickly as he denounces Proof of frauds and hoaxes, he does so many times to the point of trolling.

perhaps you can grab a "I heart pg" t shirt in the gift shop on your way out...

Like I said in my original first post, the force of the skeptics is strong on these forums. ;) I could aggro all day, but as I know for example bats and xenofish already, that would be a vain battle. Can't claim that I'm all peace and love IRL, but on the interwebs I can't really be bothered to hate. I've always been one in the minorities, for example for my beliefs, so I am very well accustomed to people not agreeing with me. I won't be posting on every topic, but unfortunately "I will be as hard to get rid off" as Papageorge :D ;) ;P

I'm not trying to get rid of him. I just want him to use some common sense. Which is a fools errand on my part. I haven't made my mind up about you yet.

Actually I'm VERY SKEPTIC at times. For example for me to believe in ghosts I would have to see one myself. I'm VERY INTERESTED in the area of paranormal when it comes to ghosts but I will have to see one myself to believe it myself. And even after that - was I drunk - was it a condition of my brain, something not real?

For example my friend once was woke for three days. He was on a music festival that lasted three days. After he came home - after staying these three days awake - he was treated by 1m long orc on his room's door way? The orc said "Hi!" and walked along the hallway of his apartment? It's obvious this was a hallucination caused by sleep deprivation. I know that brain can do all kind of things, especially under influence of drugs, alcohol, etc? Believe me, I can be very skeptical of things. This was just an obvious example from my friend's past, but I really rarely take anything for granted! But I appreciate you giving me the possibility to show my true colors here on UM.com. :)

Not just those things listed but belief itself can create mental phantoms.

Not for me: I'm very strict at what to  believe. I've never witnessed anything paranormal or weird in the common sense? I love anything mysterious, but have NEVER witnessed anything really strange or mysterious? I'm actually with you skeptics: I have no reason to believe, but I just love anything that can't be explained by common sense? Even as I try to explain it myself?

Mostly it can be explained and there is no mystery? That is mostly case in here UM.com as well? In most of the cases I just shake my head that these "news" weren't even worth of posting here? But there are times that I go: THIS COULD BE SOMETHING! And even then, I go "IT COULD BE SOMETHING"! I never assume anything. I never take anything for granted. I ALWAYS DEMAND PROOF! I'm like Mulder in a way that "I WOULD LIKE TO BELIEVE", but for me to believe, the proof has to be something of extraordinaire!?

My introduction on these forums of UM.com may have been of "fanboyish", but I can be really skeptical about things. Just like Papageorge, believe me? It's not like he believes 100% of the stories as he surely does not? I do not as well, I MOST CERTAINLY DO NOT. But as these are my first posts on UM.com, please give me suspension of disbelief? :D ;) ;P

No, we always know the % of his belief in such things. He lets us know.

Good catch. There might be two discernable ghosts in the second picture. And dissolved to mist by the third.

Actually in the third photo the other figure appears to be stood on the seats reaching for something.Just members of staff going about their duties.

I was already thinking about a new meter? ;P THE BOOZE METER: how drunk was the person taking the picture or the video as he/she was taking it? It's kinda not fair and not funny at all, so I probably won't be doing it, but my "ah, so too fast mind" already thought about it? And my "ah, so too fast mind" also posted it....... :/ :(

I won't be doing it - PERIOD

This is just a test to see if my account photo is showing - sorry for the inconvenience - I have no idea if there is a time delay on the account photo showing up?

If my account photo won't be showing, please tell me what I'm doing wrong? I did not find anything beside the "cover photo" concerning ones account photo, so please tell me how to update my profile picture, if that wasn't right?

Sorry, found it - a noob is a noob, also this time.

A certified noob, for all of those concerned? ;P
