Bigfoot museum celebrates 1-year anniversary

Davros of Skaro

"Barnum was devoted to the museum project, giving his own land, funds, collections and expertise to ensure its success; but he did not live to see it completed, approving plans for the building’s construction only three weeks before his death on April 7, 1891. Costing some $85,000 to construct, the building opened on February 18, 1893 and has been part of downtown Bridgeport ever since."

Bigfoot himself has actually visited.

It seems to be more then a Bigfoot museum. More like a mixture of Bigfoot and human oddities.

There's an alien museum in Roswell, NM that's the same way.

Maybe both locations need a different word to describe what they are...Exhibit? Installation? Collection?

im a huge fan of old school side shows and in a way thats all these type places are, they just dont travel because they would never make any profits,

im not all huge up on it that they call them museums its just not really what they are.
