I never said it was the beginning of the end.  Trump said he could shoot someone on 5th avenue and not lose any supporters, and he wasn't wrong.  He wasn't joking, either.  His supporters are akin to a cult.  They will believe what he says, and will follow him to the end of his presidency.  The political predicament?  Republicans serving in the house and Senate know this, and will fall in line.  They know the only way they can keep power is to make excuses, and give him a pass at every turn.  I mean, seriously, if Obama did half of this BS, you people would lose your minds.

I kinda see Hanky's position here, though.  I mean, if he doesn't gloat now, before the facts are known, he likely won't get the chance after they are.

And I never said you did. Again, my whole entry here was aimed at Hank to see if he was just egging people on or if he was truly all in on a predicted outcome. I don't care about all the other stuff you said. Nothing personal but I've burned out playing this broken record. Chances are I'll be back for it eventually though.

I don't often like predicting the future but at this point one doesn't even need to pay attention to wager a guess as to how this will play out. The Dems are champions of shooting themselves in the foot but we'll see.

This push to Impeach over THIS disclosure has been underway for days.  NO ONE has read the transcript yet.  My guess is that the Left will be shut down again by Trump but even if he ran his mouth inappropriately you're never going to find 17 Republican Senators willing to end their careers by removing a president as popular with Republicans as he is.  Hell, even some red state Dems may vote to acquit.

I can't even deny that.  Trump said he would release the transcript.  The fact that they started the inquiry before that can do nothing but hurt the cause.  If the transcript comes out, and it is nothing, it's trouble.  Why not wait until it was released?

You guess doesnt mean squat. It ain't the Republican Senators he has to worry about. It's the voters. The majority of which want him impeached. You do know you're a minority don't you? If he's willing to release the transcript why keep the complaint from going to congress in the first place? I wouldn't be surprises if the transcript that gets released is written in sharpie.

Trump did stop some aid to the Ukraine a couple days ago, but Biden also held back aid until the Ukraine got rid of the prosecutor who was looking into his son and where he worked. At least that's what I'm finding.
