"In a lawsuit filed in January, Daniels alleged her arrest was politically motivated and sued for false arrest and false imprisonment in violation of her civil rights. "Daniels, who originally sought damages of $2 million, settled her suit on Friday for almost a quarter of that amount, telling reporters "it was never really about the money, it was the charges that were made and bringing awareness"." Eh, she's still part of one of the six or seven congressional investigations on Trump (one of the the campaign finance violation ones) and the New York state level hush money investigation (the one that is currently subpoenaing his tax records). But we never resolve any scandals, anyways. The Clinton stuff has been going on for decades. The Biden/Ukraine thing popped back up and got turned into an impeachment event. Clinton and Trump will long be dead in the future and someone will be, "but her emails" and "collusion!". The scandals are political tools. You'll always have a shyster like Trump resurrecting a scandal with a phone call to win an election or crush an opponent.
