This is going to be the new money maker. I think I will get the judge a bottle of sherry and he can get my boat legally haunted, that should quadruple the price.

Her insurance is covering the cleanup, but the house was trashed and she has to fix it up and then she plans on selling it as it is too upsetting for her to have that house now. She will have to disclose the murder when she sells it. Oh gosh how awful - I don't blame her at all for not wanting the house anymore. I don't think I could deal with it emotionally speaking. Thankfully her insurance covered the cleanup - gosh it sounds terrible.

He killed his parents and sisters I believe. Something like that. I just remember those people who bought it afterwards and I couldn't believe the real estate didn't disclose the info. *shudders at the thought*

HollyDolly Posted October 9, 2019 #30 Share Posted October 9, 2019 I remember years ago reading a story on this house in Readers Digest and elsewhere. Nyack is just up from where my sister lives.Alot of times people go and buy a house, and never learn there was even a murder in it. Would I want a haunted house ,no. Now if it was some house that was 300 years old in Germany that our family lived in every since it was built, and I inherited the place maybe.
