now that is a great video, i dont know what the devil it is, hoax? i lean that way when we have zero infomation like when, where or who filmed it, so its not of scientific merit but still very cool,

Maybe a weird seed pod? Doesn't look like it is moving on its own.

I thought so too. It doesn't seem to do anything but float.

If it is a creature, my guess would be some type of Sea Hare.

It doesnt look like a real animal, more like some object floating in the lake.

yeah, does seems to have a non living prop feel, the body looks like a leaf but in that close up its head looks like a seal or is that just pareidolia?

Most probably.

But I saw it too. I think it's just shading though. It doesn't blink or open any aperture.

Jeeze! That is so fake. No ripples around the faked ripples and when it goes under water there is no movement in water.

Absolute fake. Take it from someone who knows their ripples.

THIS IS A FAKE.

Looks like a Leatherback Sea Turtle with its arms stretched back to propel it along, the head is similar shape and dimensions, and it is reaching up to take air before going back under.
They are also native to that particular area so would be expected to be seen.

Either it is looking different due to the effects of looking through water distorting what it's body looks like, or it could be a sick/disabled one that has not fully developed in the way it should have and hence looking a little weird. It might also be fairly young still, because baby Leatherbacks usually start off hand sized, but will grow to adult size of around 1.8-2.2 meters in length. The one in the video looks shorter than that size and as such could be juvenile still, or possibly that way because of sickness.

It looks like a big leaf or the dismembered/roughed up tail-peice of an unfortunate sea creature imo.

From country that eats dead bird embryos still in the Shell and live tadpoles it could be a mutilated turtle thats keeping nice fresh and livley the're gonna serve up as a weird dish when they get home....on the other hand it looks like a large floaty leaf.

I would say Sea Turtle but the head looks a little off and oddly shaped.

Maybe a little dog that likes to swim wearing a costume?

This reminds me of the Three Stooges when they were trying to figure out what was on a dish to eat (crab)... "What is it???"  "It's a spider!"  "A turtle!"  :D
