USS Nimitz UFOs Were Always There

US Navy Top Gun Radar specialist, Kevin Day, claims UFOs may have always been present but had only become visible after a "top secret upgrade on spyware".

https://www.**************/news/weird-news/uss-nimitz-ufos-were-always-20542368    (**'s = dailystar dot co dot uk)  Sorry for link problems

Kevin Day claims the upgrade in the Spy1 radar was fleetwide and that is the reason for many recent UFO sightings by the US Navy.

Kevin Day also claims that the UFOs are extraterrestrial. "This was non-Newtonian, it was non-classical physics so it had to be something."

"What other explanations are there?"

I agree with Kevin Day. What other explanations are there? So, it must be Aliens.  :-*

No link, but anyway,

Present where?

So is he saying they are invisble, but an upgrade in spyware can now spot them?

Do NASA use this new spyware on their rockets and are they fitted to.satelites?  You know, just incase they crash into one because they can not see it?

Jeeze!!!

It's *your* people causing these link problems, FTR, Grrr! anyway you can get the story, DailyStar article. Anyway,

Day is not saying they are invisible, he is saying they were always in the sky but were not visible to US Navy radar could not see them until they upgraded the spy1 radar system.

NASA, whoo, don't know about that

Well since the sightings all took place after a radar "upgrade" then how about a flaw in the new radar.  Or maybe natural phenomena, misinformation.  That's just off the top of my head.  Aliens should not even be on the list.

Yep, just the sort of nonsense you would read in the DailyStar.

It depends on what you believe. Simple as that.

Flaw in the radar? and they still haven't figured it out since 2004?  <grin> Natural phenomena that defies physics? <grin>

What is "off the top of your head" is hilarious actually LOL.  And Aliens should not be an option? Any reason why not?

Or is that just a hope-and-a-wish off the top of your head too?

If it's aliens, they're not from this universe...

Unnatural phenomena that defies physics?  The very act of defying physics should clue you in that it's mistaken data.  Why no aliens?   That question I and others have listed the details about too many times on UM to bother doing it here.  There are dozens of reasons why aliens are not here on our planet.

Is this directed to me, Saru?  No I don't. Is the Daily Star *that* bad? There is an audio in there, I doubt they are faking Kevin Day.

No it does not at all. It tells me that we only *think* we know all there is about physics.

These Navy sightings have been going on a long while. When do you think they will figure it out that their super special spy1 radar is WRONG?

yikes.

Well, OverSword, I don't know of a reasonable proof that Aliens within the galaxy or even universe do not exist. And if they exist and have  existed for 8 billion years (why not), then why is it *impossible* that Alien UFOs visit this planet?

You have no evidence to support that  - let alone, proof.

There's not proof, and there is always the chance that there are aliens here (very slight) but the list of obstacles that need to be overcome is huge.  I don't consider the possibility realistic at all.

So Day is the talk of this thread. Well Day is not to be trusted.

Is that my opinion? No. It is the opinion of Fravor, the pilot who reported seeing a UFO.

https://badufos.blogspot.com/2019/05/its-tic-vs-tac-as-media-goes-into-frenzy.html

Quote

Fravor spoke at the recent UFO Fest in McMinnville, Oregon (held annually to honor the famous Trent UFO Photos, taken just outside that town). Reporter George Knapp and documentary filmmaker Jeremy Corbell were also on the panel. Fravor  sharply criticized the accounts of certain other people who were involved and have been speaking about the incident. He seemed to be singling out the account of the radar operator, Kevin Day, as being non-factual. He dismissed claims of Air Force personnel coming on board the Nimitz and confiscating evidence as being untrue. Fravor also  referred to Dave Beaty's "Nimitz UFO Encounters" documentary as a "cartoon."  This prompted Knapp to say to Fravor, "I guess you're being diplomatic, but some of the stories and claims that have been made by people, who may have been on those ships, are just bull****." When people began commenting about these remarkable disagreements, Corbell pulled the video off YouTube.

Fravor gave a talk at the UFO convention and he made it quite clear to the audience that he is in it to be truthful and that others such as Day are not.

As has been correctly reported, the radar system had been recently upgraded. The crew was testing out their new equipment.

As with any new equipment it is important to get experience with it. It showed things that they investigated. Day would like to pretend that this upgrade allowed them to see UFOs. Did it?

After the upgrade and the gaining of experience these types of events went away. Why? Because the crew learned how to use the equipment.

The same has happened with other fleet upgrades. New equipment. New experiences. Learning leads to understanding how to handle the new equipment. False positives go away.

Consider this site

https://podcastufo.com/show-notes/kevin-day-uss-nimitz-tic-tac-ufo

Quote

It was Kevin’s team in USS PRINCETON’s Combat Information Center that discovered the fleets of
anomalous air contacts, now known as the TIC TAC UFOs, in the sky’s above the Southern California

That's a bit weird right?

How many UFOs were "discovered"? Exactly 1. Fravor saw 1 thing he stated was a UFO.  That's it.

Did Day's team "discover" anything? No. It seems that is Day's story and no one other than Day is involved.

Quote

Kevin recommended investigating the contacts with a pair of F/A 18 Super Hornets
launched from the USS NIMITZ. The NIMITZ Strike Group’s Air Defense Commander concurred and Kevin’s team conducted the now famous intercept. Interestingly, it was to become Kevin’s very last tactical intercept. It was also Kevin’s very last underway in the Navy prior to his retirement.

This is telling. Day, the radar operator, is claiming he was in charge? Is that correct?

It is correct that Day left the Navy. So Day has no idea what happened after the crew became used to the new radar system. Well, actually he does. They stopped reporting false positives.

If we take Day's account to be correct, something Fravor disputes, it means that even Day stopped reporting things. So maybe he too learned how the new radar worked.

So hang on, what constitutes a sighting?

Is a radar reading a ‘sighting’?

I’ll be honest, if this is a daily star article it’s not worth a damn, and i haven’t read the link because of that, as you can guarantee it is 100% pure BS.

The topic is well discussed in other threads here why the dupe?

Come on, is this thread a joke?

I think this thread is all about pretending there is some legitimacy to the fairy tales told by Day.

LOL, I'm now seeing that the Star is not trusted. I get it!

the problem is, there is audio ion there of Day speaking and basically saying what is in text. If the Star falsified that, they could get sued.

I wish I had another source. Oh, well.  Next time I'll avoid the Star.
