Oh It's no worries, I actually think it was my fault I gave you the impression I was from the US - because prior I'd mentioned I was about to head off to sleep because I thought I was in the US (threads) and didn't realise I was in the Middle East (thread).   But I neglected to mention the word threads.  So my bad, and all is good.   

However, I just wanted to mention our Prime Minister was over in the US last week I believe, prancing about like he's actually a world leader.  I couldn't help but have a chuckle to myself.

It's certainly not as bad as Denmark 

I live in sweden in Gothenburg and if anyone have read white flight ? Or heard of it, that is whats happening in many parts in the large cities.
The danes are setting up security borders now between sweden and denmark due to alot of "swedes" visiting denmark and doing criminal activities.

Too bad that the Kurds haven't learned anything from Kirkuk. This was just matter of time as they failed to make good deal with the government. Now we even see Kurd leadership trying to contact Damascus in order to solve this catastrophe.

How can they be stationed BETWEEN Syria and Israel ? Either they are in Syria, or they are in Israel ? 

*Edit* .. ooops.. my mistake.. apparently the UN has a peacekeeping force somewhere on the Golan heights ? This seems to be a routine rotation of that garrison ?

I wonder how much that will make the Europeans blink. They already have a conservative resurgence based off the last wave of permanent "temporary" refugees. The EU political elite can't afford to  have any more shifting to the right in European politics.

Ummm... no ? I mean... only if Bulgaria and Greece decide to open their borders with Turkey ? And if they DID, then - ultimately - Poland, Hungary and Croatia would close THEIRS, and it becomes a Greek and Bulgarian problem.
