I had to look this up!  I'd never heard of security robots.

It's sounds as if they are yet to iron out the glitches.

10W-30 with a just ever so slightly less viscosity when hot.......Yup, good pick! It's as useless as the robot.

This is just a warm up. Must be proto-cop. The test model of law enforcement. Probably trying to get the T-1 Up and working.

Neat thing about miniguns and other 7.62 autos is the barrels warp easily. That's why a M60 machine gunner carries 3 spare barrels and the gun tech on a AC-130 has a box of those suckers next to his coal shovel (which is used to shovel away empty casings).

Get the robot cranking until it's barrels are cherry red and that thing's guns will be twisted into knots. It's barrels will probably warp before it's even out of ammo.

Ive never seen a "cop bot"

I shop graveyard hours at wallyworld and they have floor cleaner bots, the machines can still be driven so there's the steering wheel moving on its on, and every time I see one i wanna sit a skeleton from the halloween dept in the driver's seat.

Yeah, but we dont have Asimov's 3 laws, no, if, ahem, when we get there im thinking robots will be more like  David from Prometheus.

In my childhood i had a toy train battery powered ran free like many toys it had the little pair of spinning front drive wheels, if they ran into something they turned and went another way,

Early 90s i bought a robot war bug it had a sensor that if it ran into something it turned and went another way,

now the walmart floor cleaners have sensors to warn people and stop the machine, in a way i see it as that toy train or bug, an illusion of sorts, give it time and not long the walmart floor bot will hurt someone, people are dumd.
