This is ancient technology and its still floating above the surface today. No one knows how old it is, but we do know that it came from a very technologically advanced species.

The thing that is missing here is a link to a source photo from the NASA or JPL websites.

This may win dumbest link of the day. "We know it's ancient technology from yada yada yada" - DO YOU NOW, LOL ok then.

Sometimes I think they shouldn't release space exploration photos at all - too many woo-woos get a hold of them and go nuts.

"This is 100% real. This floating orb was found by th late great Streetcap1 and Paranormal Crucible of Youtube"

Those are indisputable credentials

And it floats via "battery power"

Here is simple problem. The size of a shadow is dependent on 3 things:

  1. The size of the light source
  2. The size of the object
  3. the angle of the surface on which the shadow  is cast

Clearly in this image the shadow is NOT a shadow.

I hope this lesson in shadows has helped anyone that fell for this stupidity.

Faking fakers and the phony fakery they post on YouTube.  No wonder people don't believe in anything anymore.

Thanks for that Deb, and welcome in.

the shadow placement didn't appear to be correct. the light source can be judged by the shadow in the bottom half of the rock and it appears to be coming in from the NNW direction. So the shadow on the ground should be shifted over to the right. It is not. It is right under the rock.

Can't explain it.

And there is simply no way in this world that that can be two rocks, and not one with a shadow? A shadow which, by the way, does not match the shape of the rock in the least. And the statement "This is ancient technology" is indicative  of someone pulling chains. Gullibility is such a nasty disease.

Wow, I looked again and noticed something I hadn't before... Scott Waring.

I'm embarrassed not to have notice that Scott Waring was involved in this idiocy.

It's two, different shaped, rocks sat on the ground, one in front of the other.   Or I'm a chocolate mongoose.

It's known as pareidolia. That's not an orb, it's a rock. The angle of the obvious telephoto footage makes the dark space in front of it look like the rock's shadow but the shadow doesn't look rounded at all. When the video was panned to the left a similar "shadow" was seen. It's just the uneven terrain. You could not prove from the video that the rock is above the dark area, but it's behind it.
