Woman claims to have found an alien artifact

We used to have a pair of  old nut crackers where they been used over the course of 90 yrs or so ( they belonged to my grandmother and probably her mother) the handles had worn leaving an odd hieroglyph kind a pattern ..... wonder if we still got them I could have my very own alien junk .
