Christian church leader Rick Wiles threatened that "There's gonna be violence in America" if President Donald Trump is removed from office.

Wiles, the senior pastor at Flowing Streams Church in Florida, made the remarks on his right-wing TruNews program Tuesday evening. He claimed that cowboys, mountain men and "guys that know how to do violence" would start attacking and "hunting down" Democrats.

"If they take him [Trump] out, there's gonna be violence in America," the religious leader said. "That's all there is to it," he asserted.

"However he leaves, there's gonna be violence in America," Wiles went on. "I believe there are people in this country, veterans, there are cowboys, mountain men, I mean guys that know how to fight," he said, "and they're going to make a decision that people who did this to Donald Trump are not gonna get away with it."

Newsweek

Sounds familiar.

Im not sure who needs the prayers. The priest threatening violence to protect republican president Trump who is fundamentally a dishonest man. Maybe both.

and then

Seems like a reasonable outcome if he gets removed from office by a coup.  Remember, I can't stress it enough, the fact that millions hate this man is easily counterbalanced by the millions who put him in that job. Underestimate your enemy at your own peril. Using mob tactics to remove him might just net them a problem they aren't fit to handle...just sayin'...

There he is. I knew I'd heard this sort of talk somewhere before.

A coup is by definition an illegal grab for power. The House is following the laws of your country.

Yeah... and this Rick guy also believes gay people are the cause of hurricanes, and Luciferians have created plant based meat substitutes to change our DNA so we can't have souls anymore along with a bunch of other odd notions.

It's a bit more complicated then that.

While America obviously has laws, along with laws of impeachment, the American legal system is based on tradition and not law which is why court cases are so important in America as they set a preccident to follow.

Since there has already been a few impeachments in America already there is a preccident to follow and the Democrats arent following it so regardless if they follow the letter of the law or not it will be viewed as illegitimate to a large amount of the population.

I'm just gonna say that the people who elected Donald Trump are not the enemy.

Sometimes it feels like we are watching a horror movie and they are the four innocent teens whose car breaks down on a lonely road.

One of them says, "Hey lets check out that old house while we wait for the tow truck."  And we say  Nooo.

When they get inside someone says, "Lets split up."  And we say NOOOOOO!

Maybe Scooby Do will show up and save the kids and they will catch the crook and he will tell the cops, "I would have gotten away with it too if not for those darn kids."

Right now it doesn't look like that kind of movie,

Rather an interesting point of view concerning a President who was elected because he was an outsider.  One of his chief attractions is that he is not like all the other politicians and he was going to shake things up. His supporters were gleeful about that.  It was thought to be wonderful that he was not bound by precedent, because he would get things done.

Now you want a Congress bound by precedent?  You don't want them to shake things up and get things done?

That is what is happening.  It is a coup.  The laws are being weaponized to seize power.  This is a gambit that will not work.  There will be consequences.

It is not Congress.  It is Leftists.  The only thing they want to get done is the usurpation of power.

The jury is still out on that one

All Democrats? Why? There is a small, violent little cult of Democrat voters that like to prey on people wearing MAGA hats. A select few Democrat politicians have called for violence but even then, they seem to be considered "fringe" by most people.

This "Pastor" and fanatics like him are the real problem. People in general don't want violence.

In that case I change my mind.  He's right.

They got nothing except to stir the sheep. They probably fear Pence being prez anyway. It's all 2020 in their minds.

Nor do I believe that the majority who voted straight Democrat because it's what they always do are the enemy either.  The problem here is optics and the Democrats are allowing their leadership to openly attempt what can only be seen as a coup by Republican voters.  They could easily have avoided that by adhering to the tradition set up in the last two Impeachments.  Instead, they opted for secrecy and total non-transparency so it's on them if the crap gets up in the fan.

No, not an incitement to violence but not really a prediction either.  Saying 2 + 2 = 4 is not a prediction but an understanding of mathematics.

“If you prick us, do we not bleed? if you tickle us, do we not laugh? if you poison us, do we not die? and if you wrong us, shall we not revenge?"

If he is removed Pence would take over.  So your argument fails.

Sir Wearer of Hats

Sad thing is, he’s probably correct. There are enough people with violent intent who will see the impeachment of Trump as the government betraying the people or whatever whackadoodle excuse their brains need to unleash their violent side. It will be a dark time for America if it happens, there will be blood. The worst part is Trump’s guilty as sin.
