The problem with the BBC is that, if you accept the opinions of those who post on social media, they are extremely biased against the Tories, Labour, Lib Dems, Brexit, the EU, socialists, communists, capitalists, the illuminati, bilderbergers, agatheans, Atlantians, space aliens, Scotland, Ireland, England, Men, Women, Children, Intersex, Multisex, never-had-a-sex, the rich, the poor, the middle classes, the working classes, science, arts, christians, cathlics, protestants, muslims, hndus, atheists, pastafarians, Indians, Pakistanis, Americans, Australians, the Chinese, global warming, global cooling,  flat earthers, round earthers, young earthers, very old earthers, snowflakes, raindrops, old people, anyone who knows anything and everyone else who has an opinion on anything at all.

The only thing everyone is agree on is that whatever they think or believe, the BBC is biased against them

Amusing post but ultimately untrue. The BBC is renown for its left wing liberal bias, there is a web site dedicated to calling it out, and it has been highlighted by several of its ex employees including the recently departing Johnathan Humpreys, to name but one.

Thats not true, the BBC are one of the most biased media organisations on the planet. They heavily promotes left-wing and liberal values. Just look at what they did to Dr Who.

Says two of the resident right wingers...

Rather proving his point there.

Here's some actual evidence for you: https://www.bmgresearch.co.uk/is-the-bbc-biased-bmg-reveals-public-perceptions-of-broadcaster-impartiality-in-the-uk/

You might not like it, but the BBC is pretty much right in the centre ground. Where they are supposed to be.

Your link says 37% of the people polled (and I note it doesnt say what demographic they were) thinks the BBC is neutral. I shall do the maths, that means 63% of people think it has a bias. Thats bad lol.

Nice home goal that one lol.

37% said neutral or balanced, 24% didn't know. That's 61%. Leaving 39%. 22% thought left wing 18% right wing. So yeah pretty balanced.

oh yes it doesn't add to 100 due to rounding as per original link.

BBC radio back in the 1930's was regarded as biased even back then.  Must be a legacy they want to uphold.  ;)

Daily Herald Newspaper - 20th March 1931

'Charges that the BBC is biased and in favour of Socialism and Communism have been made in the House of Lords tonight, and have been refuted by Chairman of the BBC, Lord Gainford.'

The BBC has apologised for mistakenly running an out-of-date clip of Boris Johnson laying a wreath.

It said a production error led to BBC Breakfast showing images purporting to be the prime minister attending a Remembrance Day service on Sunday, when in fact the clip was from 2016.

"This was a production mistake and we apologise for the error," the corporation said in a statement.

BBC up to their usual tricks. I'd expect nothing less.

why was this a dirty trick to discredit the beloved Leader? Was he wearing a donkey jacket? did they fake it so that he seemed to flick a surreptitious V sign before walking away?

"VOTERS have reacted to the news Labour MP and arch-Remainer Emily Thornberry is set to lose her seat to the Lib Dems, with Brexiteers calling the shock prediction “Karma of the highest order”."

what they did to Dr Who?! You people really do go out of your way to make yourselves look ridiculous with your perpetual "Politically correct liberal bias! I'm offended!!" hogwashery. You do realise that you're making yourselves look as ridiculous as the professionally "I'm offended" snowflakes you laugh at?

This is precisely the kind of absurdity that people were talking about. Now, in the hallowed pages of the **blocked***,  it's "Corbyn is a Sex Pest to his own members of his cabinet!!"

You do realise, as I just said, that this makes the fanatical pro-tory press look very very silly?

I think he put the card on the wreath the wrong way round .... they probably wanted to minimize his
serious moment as PM in 2019..... by slipping in the 2016 clip... like.... look what a silly billy he is / was..

the BBC and MSM in general are experts at micro managing the news / propaganda... to fit in with their agenda..

a bit of Human Interest Election Gossip...:innocent:

He might have been a bit nervous with the General Election and all... and did a bit of a daft thing on the spur of the moment...
Thornbury probably thought..." oh FFS.... stop it...."

My word, they're even more devious than I thought. Did someone remember that he'd made a hilarious boob a few years ago and looked out the clip to deliberately make him look like a bumbling fool? Well I'm, I'm shocked and appalled, that's what I am.

As I have said before we are unable to vote for any of the main parties but we still have an interest in who you lot vote in for obvious reasons.

So my views

Economy both main parties if you can believe them anti austerity - even

Trust - neither particularly trustworthy - even

Leaders - both are pieces of cp - even

Europe - Boris Deal v another deal and referendum - - but since Boris deal leaves NI in EU economically not overly agitated -  Labour slightly

Health and Social - Tories responsible for massive cuts deserve cut themselves - labour

Electoral change - badly needed imo - no party offering anything - even

Criminal Justice system - really bad cuts since 2010 needs investment - neither party commenting - even

so I'd prefer labour win very slightly - but Boris deals for NI protects us from Brexit biggest issue at the minute  - so not really bothered by Tory win - provided - provided they spend as promised.

what, after David Cameron was responsible in the first place for the "austerity" that they're now promising to end by giving the second most important job in the Cabinet to his chum George Osborne as a reward for being a chum of his at Eton and helping "Dave" Cameron become leader, despite the Old Etonian Chum having no qualifications, experience or any knowledge whatsoever of economics?

Surprisingly - although I know Boris is a liar - I am giving him the benefit of the doubt that he will actually spend going forward. If I was judging based on past performance - I would be rooting for the Raving Monster Loony party or whatever they are called.

As it is I am left with the present crop of Tories - whom I don't like,  Labour which have not impressed and Liberals led by a leader repeating the mistakes of the Steel fella. Out of that lot Labour overall slightly.

But in reality when you boil it down its a very poor choice at this election, and to an extent the spending promises are worthless until we see the impact of Brexit or Not Brexit.

RE bolden when have Ministers ever had qualifications for the Job they have. Reading the Beano is good enough for most appointments traditionally.

Quite clearly Thornbury  has thrown a right hook and Corbyn has caught it - just in time. ;)

There's hundreds of articles about BBC's left-wing bias, we have the testaments of those leaving and retiring, the only comedians with a political theme to their act are left-wing,

Jon Holmes who used to be on the 'Now Show'.

“Should I, as a white man (through no fault of my own), be fired from my job because I am a white man?” he asks. “Arguably, yes. You may well think I’m crap on The Now Show, and that’s fine, but to be told it’s because I’m the wrong sex and colour? I’m just not sure that’s helpful to anyone’s cause.”

https://www.theguardian.com/media/2016/oct/02/bbc-presenter-jon-holmes-the-now-show-sacked

If you watch the BBC you shouldn't need this evidence it's bias is so obvious your own politics must be to the extreme left, if you don't recognise it.

This seems very apposite, if apposite's the word I'm looking for ..

A slap in the face of Leave voters

The Brexit Party offered Brexit voters a choice. Now that choice has been taken away.

Yes interesting.

Thought this paragraph summed it up nicely :-

Holmes said he was not motivated by sour grapes but by concern that the BBC was getting it wrong – a sentiment he claims is shared privately by many within the corporation.

“If we are now openly giving jobs to people based on the colour of their skin, surely that is only emphasising just the kind of social division that the equality that I was brought up to embrace strives to eliminate?” he writes.

“So what if – and I know this is radical – but what if everything and every job in all walks of life was open to everyone equally, and we all just agree that everyone’s the same, by which I mean – you know – ‘human’?”
