Trump is unpopular with who exactly?

With you. With those who have similar political views to you. Enough said.

According to yougov polls, Trump only has 21% support in the UK.

We knew from the day that the Brexit Party was created that people wouldnt vote for it in sufficient quantities for it to win the election. That is regardless of the support for a Hard-Brexit. I said that myself from the very beginning. Despite a lot of peoples hearts being with the Brexit Party most people didnt see it as a viable political party to vote for in an election.

Labour lost because:.

1. Corbyn is too socialist (you get this point right).

2. He continuously lied and tried to manipulate the public over the NHS.

3. His spending plans were pure make believe which would have been impossible to fund. There was also outrage inside some of the industries he wanted to privatise.

4. He was subverting our democracy by wanting a 2nd referendum, and by stitching up that referendum to have two options without the possibility of a Hard-Brexit.

5. The Labour Party was subverting our democracy by frustrating the will of the people in Parliament.

The Liberal Democrat leader was totally deluded with her constantly accusing others of doing things such as subverting democracy. But it was actually her doing it.

No surprise that Labour lost. I said that they would from the beginning. Wishy washy politics that try not to offend anyone end up offending everyone. Johnson won or Labour lost? Mmmm... hard to tell.

The Losers (Lab/Lib-Dem), on BBC (the Traitor T.V.) are now saying that this election will be doom and gloom for the working classes , WHY are they saying this , we now have democracy back on course which must be very annoying to these remainers , who wanted to live under the E.U. fascist regime . They should stop whinging and face defeat .

just picking up on your talking points...

I know and it's treating the 'working class' with disrespect... like saying AGAIN that they / we didn't
know what we were doing voting to Leave the EU... and NOW they / we don't know what we are
doing putting the Conservatives under Boris into power to get Brexit over the line...

The working classes held the key to this election, more or less.... and to the implementation of Brexit..
AND to stopping the economic and social chaos of the Remainers trying to overturn the referendum
result... that has gone on for years and would have gone on and on and on for years to come...

Traditional Labour voters in what has been dubbed the Labour Heartlands put Country before Party
(like Farage did).... to keep Brexit on track...

And while some insult them for it and call them stupid.... yes you know who you are...^_^
many, many traditional (previously) Labour voting working class are the Salt of the Earth....
who have dropped Tribal Politics in the 2019 election for the good of the country...

It was all going OK until the Germans and French decided to go political , then the fertilizer hit the windmill , now we shall see how many other E.U. Countries decide that they've had enough of Brussels and the E.U.  becoming a dictator state , the cracks in their union are becoming wider . the Germans are teetering on recession and the French have violent unrest and strikes .

I'm so glad we have stood firm and set an example to other European Nations who want to avoid
what you have called a 'dictator state' and I have (elsewhere) described as a Bureaucratic Dictatorship..

The EU has become too big and too ambitious on the political side of things... taking a different path to
the original one of the Common Market...

Adding to my last post....

The Salt of the Earth British Working Class could have just saved Europe as well.!!!.....

(((((AGAIN))))))

Poppy shape Brooch Remembrance Sunday Red Flower Rhinestone Badges Banquet Enamel Poppy Lapel Pin High Quality

edit to add.... of course avoiding war is the best option if at all possible... and not getting conned
into fighting in a war cooked up by the Political Elite for their own political purposes...
where the citizens of one country are set up to fight and kill their counterparts in another
country or part of the world....

one of the reasons put forward for the EU is that it would avoid a repeat of WW1 and WW2
but they have gone too far and created an politically correct, oppressive, dictatorial situation
that is loosing internal social cohesion - destroying the foundations that Modern European
Countries are built on... (freedom and individuality).... people can sort themselves out
without being treated like children and told what to do about all aspects of their life...

good education (of the none indoctrination kind) and mature democracy is a better path
than dictatorial, authoritarian rule and centralized power..... IMO....

going to stop pontificating and thinking aloud now... :)

So does this mean that Brexit will definitely happen now? I mean, that's the main reason that people opted for Bo Johnson, because he promises brexit, brexit and nothing but brexit. Does he now have a big enough majority and enough loyal Members to make sure that the next time he tries to push through Brexit, then it will go through without Members endlessly fannying about with voting and rejecting and voting and rejecting and rejecting and voting and rejecting one more time? If some could offer a nice simple answer to this I wouldn't need to bother with this thread any more.

The British People always get it right, what was offered in this election by Labour was socialism on a scale comparable to communism. the British public rejected it in full. and told Corbyn and his ideals to get back in their box.

When the collective establishment decided to put two fingers up to the Great British public over EU referendum, well the Great British public have just returned the favour.

I warned Remainers not only will we achieve Brexit but we'll take their politics as well and we have.

Labour lost in their heartlands,

The Tory party now have a majority of 80 MP's.

and true to form the Remainers never seen it coming. at some point their going to have to give their head a wobble. its not every one else who;s stupid, Its time for mirror and reflection.

well said...

Remainers believed the hype... pushed and pushed by the Media...
and let's face it we all had a bit of a wobble about the outcome... well most of us...
as the gap (supposedly) closed between Con and Lab.... in the last week of campaigning...

but I can't help thinking that all that was created by MSM and their Puppet Masters...

they tried to influence the outcome with a carefully choreographed picture for the '''puppets'''
to follow... but fortunately the British Public aren't (the majority anyway..)....puppets...

I voted in my community hall and then gave a lift to my friend when they went to vote at their
local school... and as I waited for them in the car and watched the people going on and out
I think there was a sense of quiet purpose and determination... and after all the crap we have been
put through by the Remainer MPs in the House of Commons in the last 3 and a half years,
it;s no wonder...

I mean, I'm not particularly bothered about Brest anymore, but if and when that is out of the way Prime Minister Bo Johnson's Government might possibly be able to get on with some other things, such as pouring more billions into the NHS and perhaps tackling that last bastion of Union Strength, the Rail Unions, so people might not have to put up with Replacement Bus Services which however still cost the same amount as a train ticket despite taking twice as long, having no space for luggage and being bumpy and swaying about.

yeah that's the idea.... get Brexit done so we can move forward and the Govt. can get on with other things..

the British Public opted for the best way that was on offer, to get Brexit done... which was Boris and a
conservative majority...

and I can't help remembering on the morning of the referendum all those many moons ago when all
the other campaigners were sleeping in their beds.... at about 5 o'clock there was Boris in a Fish Market...
(possibly Billingsgate Fish Market).............dressed in white with the hat and wellies.... STILL looking
for Leave Votes..... at the crack of dawn...

Dear me, you sound like all the Hillary Clinton supporters. I say ok, let's see if Bo can deliver, first of all, on Brexit, and then see what he can do about some of the other pressing issues. And if he still can't get it done, despite his surely having enough MPs, on his side now, and if he does get it done but it turns out to be a shambles, or if he isn't able to keep a handle on any of the other matters that a Government should concern itself with, then join the campaign which will no doubt by then be growing for his being ousted and run out of office in shame and humiliation. But till then, let's just give him a chance and see what, if anything, he can manage.

I hope property prices do come down so the British people get a chance to buy to them instead of landlords buying them and turning them into HMO's.

No use you turning them into HMO's if the foreigners stop coming here in the lorries.

You obviously are not patriotic if you are hoping the country falls to pieces. Well it will not!

I'm not hoping, just expecting.

And when it does, I will happily take advantage of the idiots that caused it.

Once again, I've never claimed to be a socialist, or even left wing. Just more left than you.

I am a patriot. I put what I believe best for my country above what I believe is best for me. But since 43% of the country doesn't want that, there's nothing more I can do for my country for the next 5 years.

So it's 5 years of putting my own interests above people like you.

At least I'm not trying to pretend I got what I want out of a childish desperation to be on the winning side.

The only people who won on Thursday are those who wanted to leave with a deal.

Its just sad to see the likes of @RabidMongoose @bee and @stevewinn pretending they wanted this.

I do hope it's one of their homes I end up buying. It would be a nice twist ending.

Ah... so you know the motivations of the people who voted Tory ?

Lets see.....

  1. LibDems and SNP - Brexit cancelled.
  2. Labour Party - a 2nd refferendum between accepting a (as yet un-negotiated) Labour European Deal, or cancelling Brexit
  3. or....
  4. Tories: offered a deal to the EU prior to the election, but now have the ability to abrogate the Ben Bill, and leave on whatever terms they choose to do so.

So you see, you really can't assume that people who voted Tory wanted a deal. But in any case, the Tories where the ONLY party that anyone trusted to even TRY and leave the Eurpean Union.

How are the grapes ? :P

Brexit was never not going to happen. the genie was out the bottle 17.4million people could not be ignored. MP's in parliament tried to take on the people and those that did are now forming lines at their local job centre, those that survived the mauling are left licking their wounds.

There are no road blocks left in Parliament. the people have cleared the decks. The arch remainers are gone. some jumped before the axe was swung, others where slain at the ballot box. the Beast of Bolsover is no more, Jo, poor Jo Swinson Lib Dem leader, promised to revoke Article 50, Her Constituency revoked her status as an MP, bye bye Jo, from Prime Minister in waiting to waiting to sign on. Chuka Unmunna liked musical chairs so much he went from party to party until the music stopped and he was finally chuka'd out. Then we have Dominic Grieve Agent in the field for France and EU, left grieving his failures, but no doubt he'll once again receive a French civil honour. to put with his previous one. Anna Soubry, as nutty as they come, now starring in her local theatre as the ghost of election past. all in all what a great night.

with such a whopping majority and the confidence that gives, i'd be telling the EU, your agents in the field are no more. and push for an even better deal, in fact i'd tell them here's a FTA take it or leave it. if they agree then under WTO rules we can go on trading with one another under the current circumstances for a period of upto 10 years. until the FTA is signed. solves the so called Irish problem as well.

The road a head is clear, the UK now leaves the EU.
