Any predictions about Scotland?  Will they do their own exit?

In a word, no. ;) :D

So enjoying all those hard leavers 'any deal is not Brexit' now trying to pretend this is what they wanted

So are you going to demand your party now campaigns to rerun the election until you get the result you want?

A 2nd election followed by a 2nd referendum?

shove that result down your throat mate, a loser at the ballot box once more, man up, look in the mirror, your out of step with the vast majority of your fellow citizens. its not them who's stupid is it, c'mon now. three defeats in a row and not once did you see it coming.

Being in the majority doesn't mean you aren't stupid.

As for people's vote, if this had been a referendum, as it should have been, you'd have lost. More people voted for remain parties than leave ones.

So once again, the minority are going to impose their wishes on the rest.

Enjoy the deal, you all just made me richer last night

European stocks jumped on Friday, with the Stoxx Europe 600 briefly surpassing its record closing level, as the US-China phase-one trade deal and Boris Johnson’s victory in the UK general election helped the market resume its strongest rally in a decade.

Johnson’s victory lifted nationalisation fears hanging over utility stocks, boosting National Grid and United Utilities, which rose 4.5 per cent and 6.7 per cent respectively. Among financials, RBS and Virgin Money stood out, rising 8.4 per cent and 18.7 per cent.

How to you honestly keep your distorted perceptions of politics together?

You lost, not once, not twice, but three times with the biggest loss coming last. Its now over for your EU dream so give it up and move on.

Its time for you to be gracious in defeat and accept that the British Public gave those who wish to remain in the EU a sound beating last night. The worst Labour Party defeat since the 1930s and the Liberal Democrats not far behind. A landslide majority!

There is nothing on Earth that is going to stop us leaving the EU and you know it.

From what I have gathered from what they told me when I asked the same question lol, the conservative goverment will see no reason to allow a referendum since Scotland already had one in 2014 when it was voted down.

Pardon me, but where was that outrage when the minority was stoping the majority who directly voted to leave the EU?

The referendum resulted in 51.9% of votes being in favour of leaving the EU (17,410,742 votes)"

The referendum of a single issue so that people wouldn't be concerned about voting for a party that might do other things they don't like. The referendum seems like a more accurate indication then anything else.

The referendum that had a higher voter turn-out and was only in 2016, not that long ago.

33,577,342

vs

32,011,910 total people who voted.

No steve, getting on with Brexit was the result and not an affirmation of Brexit. Otherwise Farages Brexit party would have won at least 1 of the 130 seats it contested.

So now you are trying to tell people in this election why they voted the way they did?

Amazing, but its now all irrelevant because we have won.

The people were sick of Brexit inaction. The ineptitude of the ruling party to deliver Brexit for the last 3 years was slightly less palatable than the idiotic left that couldn’t make up its mind on where it stood with a dinosauric communist in charge.

Boris Johnson made concessions to Europe with the withdrawal agreement, hinting at a soft Brexit. Farage wanted to directly pull the UK out and his answer was a resounding ****. What more proof than that do you require ?

You realise you are finally agreeing with us?

The Boris Agreement is not a soft Brexit, and the trade arrangement between ROI, NI, and the UK, only lasts until a free trade agreement is finally sorted out.

The Brexit party and their hard Brexit narrative couldn’t even get a single seat. The labour communists couldn’t make up mind on where they stood and lost seats. The Liberal Democrats increased their seats. Conservatives made compromises with Europe and won.

I think if there was another referendum the people wouldn’t trust this mob of politicians with something as important as steering the UK anywhere. And if the Scottish and NI votes are anything to go by the UK is still sailing through dangerous and u chartered waters.

you were wrong on almost everything Steve these last 3 years and you’re wrong about claiming democracy as the winner.

I doubt that I’m agreeing with you’all as much as you’re agreeing with me. Boris struck a conciliatory note with Europe and the hard yards of turning that into a trade agreement has just begun. IMO Boris has a mandate to deliver a sensible trade agreement with Europe and not bend over backwards for Trump. Boris understands this better than you steve and Co. it’s why he avoiding Trump during the NATO conference leading up to the election. Trump is unpopular in Britain because no one trusts him or respects him. If Boris hard brexits then he has misread the electorate and business community.

We knew from the day that the Brexit Party was created that people wouldnt vote for it in sufficient quantities for it to win the election. That is regardless of the support for a Hard-Brexit. I said that myself from the very beginning. Despite a lot of peoples hearts being with the Brexit Party most people didnt see it as a viable political party to vote for in an election.

Labour lost because:.

1. Corbyn is too socialist (you get this point right).

2. He continuously lied and tried to manipulate the public over the NHS.

3. His spending plans were pure make believe which would have been impossible to fund. There was also outrage inside some of the industries he wanted to privatise.

4. He was subverting our democracy by wanting a 2nd referendum, and by stitching up that referendum to have two options without the possibility of a Hard-Brexit.

5. The Labour Party was subverting our democracy by frustrating the will of the people in Parliament.

The Liberal Democrat leader was totally deluded with her constantly accusing others of doing things such as subverting democracy. But it was actually her doing it.

Trump is unpopular with who exactly?

With you. With those who have similar political views to you. Enough said.

Neither of us is getting what we hoped for. I can just admit it to myself.

Oh god no, not through Brexit.

Just that my money is ready to take advantage of all the falling house prices, my job just got more secure (because the country is heading back into chaos) and I get the great satisfaction of watching you all pretend you ever wanted this deal.

It's going to be a fun 5 years watching your dreams turn to dust and raking it in the whole time. Property in London here I come!

You mean the 52% that voted to leave with a deal, which a tiny minority then tried to use to push for a no deal exit.

Yeah same outrage was there too.

Bottom line is, I believe remaining is better for the country. Leaving is better for me personally.

So if the rest of the country is determined to shoot themselves in the foot to give me an easy ride, knock yourselves out.

I hope property prices do come down so the British people get a chance to buy to them instead of landlords buying them and turning them into HMO's.

No use you turning them into HMO's if the foreigners stop coming here in the lorries.

You obviously are not patriotic if you are hoping the country falls to pieces. Well it will not!

HMO's are ruining some areas,  I can understand if for students in some parts,  but it has got to the point where you have people crammed into HMO"s. They have caused chaos on the small roads which was never designed for so many cars or people with their rubbish.

There are too many HMO's and in some areas it has caused chaos and brought  areas down.

What has become clear is there is a large number of people in this country that can no longer except democracy.

The failure of our politicians to respect a democratic decision is now showing what damage it has done.

We have created a mob of radical socialist that will never except Brexit or this Government that has been elected by a complete landslide.

I fear this is far from over. Gina Miller is already plotting to attack trade negotiations.
