The thread tells me that pseudo-skeptics call everything they don't like a fake. Gets old.

Are you calling this a fake, you dyed in the wool pseudo-skeptic?

May I ask what a pseudo skeptic is?

It a pejorative used by the extremely gullible and often by those that do not understand the meaning of the terms theory, evidence, science, and skeptic.

Was gonna say the term "pseudo science" is a bit of an oxymoron considering a skeptic is sceptical of anything....well they're sceptical off.

Someone who claims to follow the respectable process of skepticism but is really just an anti-paranormal type and defender of a materialist worldview.

That's a poor definition to say the least. It sounds like you are taking it rather personal.

A pseudo skeptic is someone that claims to be a skeptic, but does not follow through with a skeptical approach.

A skeptic would follow the evidence. Do you?

A skeptic does not elevate non-evidence to the level of evidence. Do  you?

A skeptic can provide their reasoning on an issue. Do you?

A skeptic does not make up silly numbers that have no basis. Do you?

A skeptic does not use glittering generalities to get around their failures. Do you?

A skeptic is willing to question those supporting their argument. Do  you?

I'm skeptical of this statement.

Like old as the dinosaurs. I swear, one of us could go on an alternative account. Make up a ghost story. Completely fake and it would get something like 80% paranormal. So long as the haunting checklist is complete. To be honest I wonder if someone's already done that?

Someone makes an effort to draw in the gullible and amazingly foolish and it works. Instead of  shaming those bloodsuckers we have people believing them.

That is really sad.
