I sailed on a calm blue sea watching flying fish being chased by Dolphins , then 3 hours later was on the edge of a Hurricane 300 miles west of the Azores . 25meter waves is not funny .

I do enjoy tales from the deep!!  I find it rather curious if there is any "monsters" undiscovered in the vast oceans. And yes I'm well aware the kraken is based on the giant squid.

While most of cryptozoology is pretty easily debunked it's hard to argue that there aren't some strange creatures lurking in the ocean. I think that's why I'm particularly fascinated by stories like these. We know giant squids exist but how big can they get and what else is out there? Very interesting.

Everthing in the ocean here in Oz kills you,giant cephalopods are not the problem,little blue ringed ones are.
