‘Seven whistleblowers’

That’s three whistleblowers. What about the other four?  Cockburn’s source says that at least one is nothing to do with Ukraine but instead was reporting a call between Trump and the Saudi ruler, Mohammed bin Salman. Specifically, the whistleblower is said to have ‘concerns’ about what was said on the call about the president’s son-in-law and adviser, Jared Kushner. Kushner himself is known to have a very close relationship with MBS. Cockburn has previously written that Kushner may have been what Cosmo would call an ‘oversharer’ when it came to MBS. Unfortunately, it’s claimed that what he was sharing was American secrets: information Kushner had requested from the CIA would (allegedly) be echoed back in US intercepts of calls between members of the Saudi royal family. One source said this was why Kushner lost his intelligence clearances for a while.

According to Cockburn’s source about the seven whistleblowers, there’s more. It is that Kushner (allegedly) gave the green light to MBS to arrest the dissident journalist, Jamal Khashoggi, who was later murdered and dismembered in the Saudi consulate in Istanbul. A second source tells Cockburn that this is true and adds a crucial twist to the story. This source claims that Turkish intelligence obtained an intercept of the call between Kushner and MBS. And President Erdogan used it to get Trump to roll over and pull American troops out of northern Syria before the Turks invaded. Cockburn hears that investigators for the House Intelligence Committee know this whole tale and the identities of some of the people telling it. Whether any of is true is another matter but Adam Schiff certainly seems to be smiling a lot these days.

This would actually make so much sense. There was no reason to bend to Turkey and even now, weeks later, no one knows why Trump pulled out of Syria.

I guess we'll find out soon enough.

Well, it's a very strange story, that's for sure. There is no corroboration; just the 'journalists' word for it. But notwithstanding.... how could Jared Kushner have any power or influence to give a "Green Light" to the Ruler of Saudi Arabia to arrest one of his own citizens in the Saudi embassy in Turkey ? That REALLY doesn't seem to make any sense ?

The claim that Erdogen used an intercept of this conversation to pressurise President Trump into withdrawing from Syria seems equally far-fetched. Firstly; how could Erdogen have demonstrated that the transcript was genuine, and not a fake ? Secondly; if Erdogen carried out the (implied) threat to release the transcript, it would cause a huge diplomatic rift between Turkey and Saudi Arabia.

I dunno , @ExpandMyMind. It all seems highly improbable to me ?

Sure we do, it was to draw that cowardly murderer of innocent women and children Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi out of his hole. When God himself was reached for comment on his decision to send Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi straight to hell after the pedophile showed up at the Pearly Gates seeking entrance had this to say: "No Virgins For You"  :gun:

That seems highly unlikely consider the Kurds were instrumental in that mission and Trump had just betrayed them. There was no reason to think that they would help. In fact, I suspect that it was the US military or intelligence calling in cards or offering something to the Kurds in return for one last bang before they left.

And even if what you say is true, it's still ridiculous. Trump betrayed millions of allies to kill one man that most people hadn't even heard of?

EMM, I honestly appreciate your dedicated and well researched daily efforts to belittle America's current "Dufus in Chief" and the promotion of your personal ideology. The Trumpster certainly acts like an **** much of the time and deserves much of the scorn he receives from the fake news media and nice folks like yourself, who don't have a horse in the race but still care about what's best for America. Your right about one thing it's all ridiculous. The endless inquiries and partisan politics like Bengazi, Russian collusion, the Hildabeast's emails, Ukrainian extortion by Trump or profiteering by the Biden's take you pick with this one, it's all a means to one end and that's to influence which party of parasites gets to hang onto power and make more money off their lack of service to American Citizens who voted for them to do the people's business. It's not going to change no matter how many Trump is Bad threads you start on here so my suggestion to you is that you continue your efforts but not take this or yourself to seriously and have some fun with it along the way. Now I do enjoy our chats but I have to watch America's most revered Journalist Carley Shimkus deliver this mornings Fake News on Fox and Friends First so I'll catch up with you later. ;)

Good point Roof Gardner, here is a pic of the seven Whistle Blowers conferring on the matter this morning. I do agree with you and EMM, it will be interesting to see what comes out of this.

You could be right about this one. This story seems a bit too good to be true, from an anti-Trump perspective, for the simple reason that, if true, it wouldn't just be impeachment on the horizon. A President and his administration allowing themselves to be blackmailed by another government, undermining US foreign policy (essentially betraying the country) for personal reasons, is a baw hair away from treason. It's 100% prison time.

I saw someone suggest it could be part of a disinformation campaign by the GOP to create multiple false "whistleblowers" in an attempt to discredit legitimate ones.

This being said, Kushner is pretty mixed up with the Saudis.

Quote

In late October, Jared Kushner made an unannounced trip to Riyadh, catching some intelligence officials off guard.

What exactly Kushner and the Saudi royal talked about in Riyadh may be known only to them, but after the meeting, Crown Prince Mohammed told confidants that Kushner had discussed the names of Saudis disloyal to the crown prince, according to three sources who have been in contact with members of the Saudi and Emirati royal families since the crackdown.

On November 4, a week after Kushner returned to the U.S., the crown prince, known in official Washington by his initials MBS, launched what he called an anti-corruption crackdown. The Saudi government arrested dozens of members of the Saudi royal family and imprisoned them in the Ritz-Carlton Riyadh, which was first reported in English by The Intercept.

MBS bragged to the Emirati crown prince and others that Kushner was “in his pocket,”

https://theintercept.com/2018/03/21/jared-kushner-saudi-crown-prince-mohammed-bin-salman/

And he has been getting a lot of money from unknown sources.

Quote

A real estate company part-owned by Jared Kushner has received $90m in foreign funding from an opaque offshore vehicle since he entered the White House as a senior adviser to his father-in-law Donald Trump.

Investment has flowed from overseas to the company, Cadre, while Kushner works as an international envoy for the US, according to corporate filings and interviews. The money came through a vehicle run by Goldman Sachs in the Cayman Islands, a tax haven that guarantees corporate secrecy.

Which all aligns with the reasons given for why Kushner was denied security clearance before Trump ordered it granted to him.

Quote

President Trump's son-in-law and senior adviser, Jared Kushner, was reportedly denied security clearance last year over concerns of foreign influence and private business interests, The Washington Post reported Wednesday.

The Post, citing people familiar with the situation, identified Kushner as the "Senior White House Official 1" identified in House Oversight Committee documents released this week.

According to the documents, the individual was denied security clearance initially by career officials before being overruled by Carl Kline, who headed the White House’s personnel security office at the time.

House Oversight Committee Chairman Elijah Cummings (D-Md.) on Monday released a memo detailing allegations from Tricia Newbold, a whistleblower who has worked as a career official in the Executive Office of the President for 18 years.

Newbold told the committee last month that officials in the Trump administration overruled her and others' recommendations not to grant security clearances to 25 individuals.

The Syria withdrawal could be a simple as nepotism and Trump is simply covering for his compromised son-in-law. We'll see.

Or it could be a desire on the Presidents part not to get involved in a war ?

Well.... as you say... "We'll See". :)

This is why sane people pay the rubbish no attention.  What seems apparent now is that the intel services have completely gone on a remove Trump mission.  This is treason and as soon as they are identified they should be removed from their positions and arrested, pending trials.

  I'd suggest group therapy but the stress that would cause would be counterproductive.  It takes time to get the groups properly sorted by priority of grievances.

Considering the failed attempt by Project Veritas to do that same thing during 2018 it wouldnt be surprising at all if that turned out to be the case.

Treason definition, the offense of acting to overthrow one's government or to harm or kill its sovereign.

The intel and law enforcement agencies during Obama's tenure were weaponized to stop his candidacy, then when that failed, to remove him from office.  Evidence of this is coming to a news station near you in the not too distant future and though you'll never accept its validity, it won't matter when the grand jury indicts the scum who acted against our president.

I have no interest in bandying words with a nutter so this is my only response.  Dude, you have a serious issue with TDS and if he's re-elected BY AMERICANS in AMERICA, you're apt to have a mental break.  Assuming, of course, that it hasn't happened already.

You honestly need to get out of your bubble. Do you know how ridiculous you sound making this claim when those very law enforcement agencies kept the investigation into Trump secret during the election while announcing the investigation into Clinton?

Not to mention the fact that they could have IDK just charged him during the campaign. Or just fabricated evidence to "prove" his guilt. Or you know since we are talking about the US intelligence apparatus just made him disappear? Maybe blackmailed him into dropping out?

But no youre arguing this massive conspiracy to "get Trump" by the most powerful offices in the world decided to let him be elected and then publicly announce an investigation into him to undo the election that they didnt ever even try and stop? Instead of just stopping his election? Or even hurting his campaign by publicly announce he was being investigated? Think it through man.

That's not treason, it would be sedition, and it cannot apply to your own elected government while they're acting within the boundaries of the law. You're trying to claim that the impeachment process laid out in the Constitution is seditious/treasonous. That's your actual defence.

I can't help but wonder is he issued his warning before during or after his tweets calling for a coup to unseat the Trumpster ;)

Ukraine whistleblower’s lawyer warns Trump to stop attacks on client

A lawyer for the Ukraine whistleblower reportedly sent a letter to the White House on Thursday warning President Trump to “cease and desist” calls to unmask his client. “I submit that it is in your client’s best interest to cease and desist in calling for the public disclosure of my client’s identity and to cease in rhetoric that may endanger their life and the lives of their family,” Andrew Bakaj wrote in a letter addressed to Pat Cipollone, Trump’s White House lawyer, which was obtained by CNN.
