The evidence of life after death

For those of you interested in a thorough and impartial analysis of mediumship I strongly recommend the book "Immortal Remains: the Evidence of Life After Death" by Stephen Braude.

Is Stephen Braude a medium or a nuerologist?

Neither, he's a pseudo-scientist.  His wiki page is pretty damning and makes him out to be a gullible schmuck. From the sound of it nothing he does is either thorough or impartial, and he's easy to trick.

I wouldn't waste my time.

I hung out with a person who called herself a psychic medium and she wrote a book too.  I think it was called Proof of Heaven.  She just wanted to be famous and wasn't a very good medium, in my opinion.  It got tedious hanging out with her because of her narcissism and because any where we went she would identify people she thought were rich, and give them "messages".

That is not to say I don't think we are not eternal, I do, but mediums are usually not trust worthy.

He is professor of Philosophy at the University of Maryland, Editor-in-chief of the Journal of Scientific Exploration and a reference for all who approach this issue from a strictly scientific position.

Here is the upto date and true info on him

Quote

Braude is a retired professor from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County with a Ph.D. in philosophy who has championed the idea that scientific evidence for mediumshipand psychokinesis exists. As one might guess, Braude is the Editor-in-Chief for the ultra-wooJournal of Scientific Exploration and was a past President of the Parapsychological Association.[3]

Braude's parapsychological work has been criticized for promoting pseudoscience, and scientists have written that his claims of psychokinesis being scientifically proven are based on assumption rather than scientific evidence.

Not a very good view of the table.  No way to tell who was lifting it.
