US teacher threatens to shoot students

"A teacher in the US state of Washington has been arrested after allegedly threatening to shoot students.

"When questioned by police at her home on Wednesday, the 58-year-old teacher did not back down from the threat and was taken into custody.

"Julie Hillend-Jones taught geometry at Emerald Ridge High School in Puyallup, about 35 miles (56 km) south of Seattle.

"It was not immediately clear what prompted her to make the threat."

All kidding aside female shooters are so rare, it would be nice to know what got her that far down the path.

No teacher should be threatening students like that. That's unnerving because a teacher here in Harrisburg was just suspended today for saying he wished he could shoot one student per year. He says he was joking.

and no student should get away with things they do get away daily in schools,  teachers threatening is not the source of the problem, is a consequence of a much larger problem,  which is disrespectful, spoiled kids and their parents who create toxic environment in schools,  and apparently left completely ignores it, but so quick to jump at a teacher, who had enough of those pricks, and made a bad joke,
