Eldorado Posted November 14, 2019 #1 Share Posted November 14, 2019 (edited) "A teacher in the US state of Washington has been arrested after allegedly threatening to shoot students. "When questioned by police at her home on Wednesday, the 58-year-old teacher did not back down from the threat and was taken into custody. "Julie Hillend-Jones taught geometry at Emerald Ridge High School in Puyallup, about 35 miles (56 km) south of Seattle. "It was not immediately clear what prompted her to make the threat." At the fabulous BBC: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/world-us-canada-50417637 "Everybody knows you don't talk about guns or make any threats in school," Troyer said. "If the student does it, they're going to jail "Now we have a teacher doing it. They're also going to jail, so she's been booked into the Pierce County Jail." Gunn Posted November 14, 2019 #2 Share Posted November 14, 2019 Excellent find, Eldorado. If you don't mind, I was thinking of adding this to the list of FBI & Local Police Stop Mass Shooters in U.S. thread since you found two news sources? Credits for the find goes to you of course.

+susieice Posted November 15, 2019 #5 Share Posted November 15, 2019 (edited) No teacher should be threatening students like that. That's unnerving because a teacher here in Harrisburg was just suspended today for saying he wished he could shoot one student per year. He says he was joking. https://www.pennlive.com/news/2019/11/harrisburg-teacher-suspended-after-joking-about-shooting-1-student-per-year.html Edited November 15, 2019 by susieice 1
