Raptor Witness

CNN just reported that more resignations at the DOJ may be coming. If so, then President Trump may face a new enemy, called credibility.

Barr needs to resign immediately. He has become like Nagini.

Do you think he might be accused of unfairly targeting only those subordinates who happened to stab him in the back?

That could be an impeachable offense, I bet.

No more so then Comey. Or McCabe.

They're Frederal employees in the Executive Branch. Trump can fire anyone under him at any time.

McCabe sued for his position to be reinstated. Doesnt look its going to happen though.

I dont believe Sondland, or Vindman, count as whistleblowers... so that wont protect them.

Is there a Federal reprisal law? I'm not sure. If there is, then they'll have a case. Probably take till after the election to sort it out though.

EDIT:

https://www.nolo.com/legal-encyclopedia/workplace-retaliation-employee-rights-30217.html

Appear the retaliation laws seem to deal with thosevwhonfiled complaints. There's also a bit on some states even covering other things. Which implies the Federal law doesn't cover other things... like testifying against your boss in court and then being fired when he's not convicted.

These guys doubtless grabbed several lawyers and figured they were screwed, and so left. They rolled the dice, and crapped out at the end.

Hey Republican lawyers!!

New openings in the DOJ. Just need to do your job and keep your head down. Pays well. Good hours. Assigned parking.

I believe most of these guys were on the Stone investigation team for Mueller. So, most likely are career Democrats. Nice for them to quit so some Republicans can take their spots.

The DOJ isn’t about “party.” That’s just another lie told by this cult leader to his dumb azz followers, They can’t ignore the law. They’re just doing their jobs.

Let the President pardon Stone. What’s he afraid of? That’s his constitutional remedy, but Trump doesn’t have the balls to use it, because he’s a coward.

Then you wont mind the Trump appointed leadership remaining on if a Democrat wins the election?

Point is people can do their job, AND be bias in doing it. I think the mess the FBI created with Stozk and the FISA abuses, show that's true.

Mueller, Jessie Liu, and the bulk of the four prosecutors are Republican.  Two even clerked/served for Supreme Court Justice John Paul Stevens and have accomplishments for several pro-conservative cases.

Aaron Zelinsky, Adam Jed, Michael Marando and Jonathan Kravis are their names if you want to look them up and their accomplishments.

Meh... We'll have to wait and see.

President Obama pardoned a bunch of people on his last day, including Bradley (Chelsea) Manning. Arguably the worst military leaker ever.

Was Obama a gutless coward for doing so on his last day?

Zelinsky is on record as saying he's a Democrat. Jed shows in voting registration as being a Democrat.

Kravis was an Obama White House counsel, so likely is Democrat.

Marando, I didnt immediately find anything, but him being Democrat fits with the other three.

Hah, perhaps I should have been the one to dig deeper.

Plus, the lead jury foreman is a partisan hack who the defense tried to have removed, but Leftist, activist Judge Amy Berman Jackson refused.  This entire Stone case is yet another railroad job done by Trump-hating bureaucrats on both sides and may well get thrown out before all is said and done.  Amy Berman Jackson has no business being a judge and should face charges herself.  The four prosecutors did NOT resign in protest, either...they cut and ran when Jessie Liu departed, because she protected them.

REVEALED: Roger Stone jury foreman is a failed Democrat candidate who mocked his arrest, labeled Trump supporters racist and posed with ex-DNC chair Donna Brazile

Switch party affiliations and this would be huge.  As it now stands?  Nothing burger.

National Review’s Top Troll Demands Roger Stone Die in Prison

"Crimes committed by politically powerful people in the service of politically powerful people corrupt our system of government and undermine faith in our institutions. They should be punished much more harshly than, say, selling a couple of grams of cocaine."

But it's always the pro-Trump fraternity who are hate-filled and vindictive isn't it.

Yes, she actually tweeted on the subject while the case was underway? Surely that's contempt of court right there. Do you think if it had been a member of the pro-Trump fraternity that had done that, respected liberal commentators would be calling for her to be locked up for life?

Comment aimed at Nation Review...

I'm not altogether sure Mr Stone is "politically powerful". From what I read he ran what he did out of a tiny office, with not even a secretary, and out of his home.

Wasnt what he lied about to Congress was that he was politically connected, and connected to Wikileaks? Apparently he lied about his Wikileaks connection, but even then, i dont believe Corsi has ever been shown to have done anything but email Stone with Wikileaks supposition.

Theres no doubt he WANTED to be a top echelon politician, but he always sucked at whatever he did, and changed projects, employers, and who he supported just about every year.

His Wikipedia entry reads as a long list of coulda/shoulda, but failed.
