Some more on the story:

Witnesses Confirm Reports by Journalist Frequently Cited in Impeachment Probe

In his opening statement at the Nov. 19 impeachment hearing, House Intelligence Committee ranking member Devin Nunes (R-Calif.) recommended that the American public read an article by investigative reporter John Solomon titled “Debunking Some of the Ukraine Scandal Myths About Biden and Election Interference.” Solomon’s reporting is inseparable from the impeachment proceedings because President Donald Trump’s requests to Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky during a July 25 phone call can all be traced back to articles that Solomon wrote for The Hill, an online newspaper. In several columns over the course of two years, Solomon exposed an appearance of a conflict of interest on the part of former Vice President Joe Biden, detailed actions taken by Ukrainian officials to interfere in the 2016 U.S. presidential election, and chronicled a tense relationship between the U.S. Embassy in Kiev and Ukraine’s prosecutors due to pressure from American officials to back off from prosecuting select individuals and groups.

Holy hell so you've just given up on news sites and gone for known liars who will tell you what you want to hear huh?

Wow that's sad. Epoch times? That's Qanon level detachment from reality. Damn I thought you were one the facts would move, just didn't think that move would be to hide from them.

Its just rotten politics. Im afraid the U.S. political system is broken. Asking the politicians to "self-police" is the problem.

Yes the irony is delicious isn't it, as we could realistically see not one, not two, but three simultaneous investigations into possible Democratic wrong doing with the Horowitz, Durham and the just added Senate investigation into the Bidens and Ukraine. And the Cherry on top is that all 3 of these investigations very likely will coincide with many of the Democratic Primaries. :santa:

Irony ? did i miss something. It was a whistle blower that alerted congress of a miscarriage of justice in the Trump administration by trying to create a fictional scenario where the leading democratic contender committed a crime. So in return Trump and Co. have decided that even thou there is no proof of Biden doing anything wrong now it deserves to be fully investigated. Okay.

They have to do it.  The impeachment proceedings forced them to do a formal investigation- without it Trump's Biden claims would be blatantly baseless.  It doesn't even need to turn up anything.  It just has to last until the impeachment proceedings are over with.

Outta political necessity, yes. An attempt to muddy the waters and lessen the impact of the house investigation.

More on the story:

Graham requests Biden-Ukraine records from State Department

Graham is seeking records related to phone calls that occurred in February and March 2016 between Biden and Ukraine’s then-president, Petro Poroshenko, regarding U.S. demands that the country fire its top prosecutor. The prosecutor, Viktor Shokin, was unpopular with Western leaders, who viewed him as corrupt, and Biden was representing official U.S. policy and that of allied governments. At the time, Biden’s son Hunter held a lucrative board position with Burisma Holdings, a Ukrainian gas company. Burisma, and its owner, Mykola Zlochevsky, had faced investigative scrutiny from Shokin’s office, presenting a potential conflict of interest for Biden.

Hunter Biden’s Ukraine gas firm pressed Obama administration to end corruption allegations, memos show

unter Biden and his Ukrainian gas firm colleagues had multiple contacts with the Obama State Department during the 2016 election cycle, including one just a month before Vice President Joe Biden forced Ukraine to fire the prosecutor investigating his son’s company for corruption, newly released memos show. During that February 2016 contact, a U.S. representative for Burisma Holdings sought a meeting with Undersecretary of State Catherine A. Novelli to discuss ending the corruption allegations against the Ukrainian firm where Hunter Biden worked as a board member, according to memos obtained under a Freedom of Information Act lawsuit. (I filed that suit this summer with the help of the public interest law firm the Southeastern Legal Foundation.)

And that is what you consider “above board” Farmer? Sheesh.

and for the record, I’m the sort of person who’d investigate someone potentially abusing their position to make money during the breaking of the world.

Which part seems off to you? Gas firm with history of corruption petitions the Obama administration to say 'we're clean now, can you stop alleging we're not, please?', or words to that effect. I'd say that would be pretty standard procedure, especially considering they had been working to clean themselves up since the end of the corruption investigations two years prior.

If anything, the memos provide contextual evidence that Biden was actually acting specifically for the US government, and not himself.

More on the story:

These once-secret memos cast doubt on Joe Biden's Ukraine story

Former Vice President Joe Biden, now a 2020 Democratic presidential contender, has locked into a specific story about the controversy in Ukraine. There’s just one problem. Hundreds of pages of never-released memos and documents — many from inside the American team helping Burisma to stave off its legal troubles — conflict with Biden’s narrative. And they raise the troubling prospect that U.S. officials may have painted a false picture in Ukraine that helped ease Burisma’s legal troubles and stop prosecutors’ plans to interview Hunter Biden during the 2016 U.S. presidential election.

Exactly so.  If Biden and Hunter did nothing wrong then they should welcome a clearing of the air.  Hunter has a history of getting sweet deals in locations where old dad had public business to do.  It looks dirty.  Prove that it isn't, after all, this has been the standard they've used on Trump.  Sauce for the goose and all that...

I'd swear you're talking about Ivanka, Don jr., and, "Hi, I'm Erik!" right now. Just the names have been changed to protect the corrupt. You know, projectionism?

Well it appears that Lindsey is doing what the President of the Ukraine failed to do.  He has announced an investigation into the Bidens.  If the same conditions apply,  he won't have to come up with anything, just make the announcement.

For that, he can get a visit to the White House and a chunk of money from the RNC directed  into his reelection coffers,

It's just another sad attempt to deflect attention away from trumps misdeeds.

You were aware that not a single Democrat witness was willing to say they had direct knowledge of any misdeed by Trump, yes?  Oh, sure, they waxed eloquent where their suppositions were concerned but not ONE was willing to go on the record with actual proof that Trump did anything wrong, let alone worthy of Impeachment.  When the trial begins, a lot of spinning will be  required to defuse the reality that their testimony will reveal.

Hopefully, you aren't so far gone that you have a mental break as a result of Trump being exonerated and gaining support amongst the independents.  I can hear your frustrated wailing already ;)

They were there to answer questions to corroborate trumps misdeeds. Their opinions about trumps guilt were irrelevant to the hearing, and rightly so.

Which part of the Ukraine-Biden conspiracy theory amounts to corruption? I'd love to read your reasoned and obviously well thought-out opinion.

You keep posting things about it so I assume you actually have a coherent argument?
