This silly ruling by an Obama-appointed, activist judge, will certainly be appealed and sent to higher court for a more responsible ruling.

Obama-appointed activist judges are a rapidly vanishing breed.

It has been an interesting few months, but it's ashame that when Subpoenaed to a hearing our Government officials can decide not to show up with no action taken. If it were any of us, who didn't show up when Subpoenaed we would be put in jail for obstruction of justice until we chose to appear. 

That is what bothers me more than anything else concerning these issues. These are the people who are suppose to be our leaders and I think they should start either Leading, Following, or  getting the F-out of the way.

There are already plenty of facts, the transcript, the testimonies but the two sides see them differently.  The transcript shows he is guilty, the transcript shows he is innocent.  It is like one of those illusions you see sometimes.  People look at the same picture, some see a rabbit' head, some see a duck's head.

I don't think it will make any difference.

Oh man,we could probably both go back through the past 5-6 administrations and roll out a list that would fill 50 pages of things "officials" have gotten away with that we'd be locked up for and the key thrown in the ocean...

The day we regular folks can join together and demand our "royals" get the same treatment,is the day we become "We the people" once again.

When we sit back and scream silly little in the moment phrases like "whataboutism" when rightly pointing out this crap comes outta both ends...we just keep widening the rift.

If these people were subpoenaed by a court,should they have to show up?...absolutely!

Should Hillary's crew who smashed up hard drives and cell phones have been given the regular peoples sentence for destroying evidence?absolutely!

It totally Bs, when the laws that apply to the Citizens of the United States no longer apply to those We Put In Office the nation needs to vote differently the next time around. I beleive that for those who didn't show up when subpoenaed should be voted out of their position during the next election. President Trump has said repeatedly that he was going to drain the Swamp, yet he allows this illegal activity to go on and possibly even instigates it himself I truly wonder why.

This is totally outrageous behaviour I am so tired of both the Republican and Democratic parties, but until enough people feel the same way nothing will ever happen and that is the facts as they are.

He was the president's COUNSEL.  He does not have the right or obligation to disobey a presidential order related to Executive Privilege.  You guys can't seem to get beyond the false premise that this president is somehow less deserving of the rights of all others.  Regardless the pettiness of his enemies, Donald Trump IS the U.S. president.  He can tell anyone asking such questions that he feels are due such privilege to pound sand and they WILL.  Deal with it.  Or cry... doesn't really matter to his supporters

Like I said these people, I was really talking about the others who didn't show up when Subpoenaed. Their not special and they should not get away with anything we can't as Citizens. So you please deal with,  or cry, because it wrong no matter what lengths you that you go to excuse.

A federal judge on Wednesday granted the Justice Department's request for a temporary pause on her ruling earlier this week that former Trump White House counsel Don McGahn must testify in the House impeachment probe, allowing a brief delay as the case advances toward an appeal. U.S. District Court Judge Kentanji Brown Jackson said in a one-paragraph order granting DOJ's administrative stay request that it "should not be construed in any way as a ruling on the merits" of the department's arguments that it can succeed in getting her decision against McGahn put on a more permanent hold while it works its way up the legal chain.

In my  opinion, after reading a lot of posts from Trump supporters,  I don't think they are stupid or unaware of what is going on.  They consider Trump to be the lesser of two evils.  He has saved America from Hillary, Progressivism, Globalism, Socialism; and the deep state.  They consider a good deal.  There also seems to be a lot of hate for the establishment and Democrats in general, but Hillary in particular.  Kind of Hillary Derangement Syndrome.

When the Reps handwave like Collins did there, it is obvious that they want their constituents to be uninformed.  But Prof. Karlan very powerfully explains the reality...  I particularly like the expression on Collins face as she begins to shred him.

Don't get me wrong, I tend to agree!  I found it interesting that you raised that, just as I watched that powerful statement by Prof Karlan.  Wonder if that will be broadcast by Fox?
