Texas woman killed by feral hogs outside home

Recommended Posts

Still Waters

A Texas woman was found dead after pre-dawn attack by a group of feral hogs outside a home, the Chambers County sheriff said.

Christine Rollins, a 59-year old caregiver to an elderly couple in Anahuac, failed to show up at her normal time on Sunday, the sheriff's office said. The 84-year-old homeowner found her lying in the front yard between her car and the house.

Sheriff Brian Hawthorne said in a news conference Monday that "multiple hogs" assaulted Rollins when she arrived at work, likely between 6 and 6:30 a.m., when it was still dark outside.

When I "cowboyed" around Wagner shooting feral hogs was one of my jobs. That's why I carried a 45LC.

Nasty things......

That poor woman was not the first either. It's happened hundreds of times before and will probably happen to some poor person again. This incident, besides crop damage, is why we try to take out as many as we can and a AR-15 or MAK-90 is the most effective weapon to do that. The damn things almost breed as fast as we can kill them.

Oh no, @aztek ...see the new socialist argument now is, since the feral hog menace point came up, well you can have one, but you shouldn't have one without a license. And never mind how many ways the license argument can be poked full of holes, but the overall main agenda would be to deny as many people as possible from getting a license to own/operate a semi-auto in the first place for silly bogus reasons and charged a high price for the license as a deterrent.

I remember putting 8 .22s in a wild boar, it kept coming untill someone else got it with a .303. They have some stamina alright.

it is already done in nyc, any semi auto long gun is illegal, no matter the caliber, or magazine capacity.  it was done during bloomberg , and now this mf is running for the potus.

and libs from all over the world are thrilled, even thou most of them never been to usa, and never will be, the farther they live the more happy they are, it is a psychotic epidemic.

Yep! That guy will do anything for the most votes. Well actually all the Dem nominees will, but Bloomberg is the worse in my book.

This reminds of the scene in Hannibal where Verger is killed by the Wild Boars.
