The only way corruption will stop is if you root it out of both sides.  That is not something you are willing to face.  So the money will just go into different pockets.

Correct and Trump is doing just that.  But there is a strategy behind it.  Trump’s style is multifaceted.  I think his goal is to root it out of the Left first (which is far more dangerous that the Right) then he’ll take on the Right all the way.  And in the meantime, he will yoke their strengths in the positions they’re in.  I think he sees the Rinos as resources or just useful idiots.  So, if you know the strategy, you can face it.

Here’s an interesting report.  This is what first hit me when I skimmed the report.  John Solomon is one that is paid to read things like this cover to cover and then report it.  He can put accurate numbers up.  As you’ll see, he pulls from Appendix 1.

Yeah dude Solomon's scam has been uncovered. He isnt an investigator or reporter he is a political activist working in concert with Trump and his defenders:

Bob Cusack, editor in chief of The Hill newspaper, tweeted out a statement on Tuesday mere moments after the House Intelligence Committee revealed that former Hill columnist John Solomon had been in contact with Rep. Devin Nunes (R-CA), Trump attorney Rudy Giuliani, and Giuliani associate Lev Parnas this past spring.

Wishful thinking.  The Left was only more dangerous until the right chose a person over the Constitution. He will have things right where he wants them that is with the money going into the pockets of his friends and family.

What, as opposed to CNN, MSNBC, the Washington Post and the New York Times ? :P

Anyway, just because he met with various Republicans doesn't mean he is a Republican shill !

Or is Don Lemon a Democrat shill ? :P

That was a great interview. It's really refreshing to see public officials own up to their mistakes.

You are so constantly wrong.  Solomon has been uncovering the scam and corruption of the Left.  He, and Sara Carter, Gregg Jarrett, Peter Schweizer, etc. are the only real journalists left.  They should all be in line for a Pulitzer for their investigative reporting.  Actually, it wasn’t all that difficult.  The Progs flaunted their arrogance.  Why shouldn’t they, they thought that it was in the bag for Hilary aka Obama 2.0.  An unrestricted Hilary would commit one high crime or misdemeanor after another and the MSM would cover for her.

OMG!  A reporter contacting politicians for a story.  How dare he!  Sounds like the death penalty to me.

Not was, continues to be.  The American Socialist’s Party’s goal is to destroy the Constitution.  This President was elected by the people because he is restoring the Constitution.  Our Republic has a reprieve of being lost in one generation.  He was elected because the people got tired of the corruption.  And that trust they have given him was well placed as the establishment has been fighting that choice ever since.  Karma will have its day!  And the guilty shall pay!

He will have things right where he wants them that is with the money going into the pockets of his friends and family.

I expect better from you.  Has any of that happened?  Will any of it happen?  No, of course not.  I’m laughing at you and Farmer and the others.  I laugh and laugh and laugh some more.  Just as in the past after the Russian Collusion hoax came up empty, I laughed and laughed and laughed some more.  Just as in the past after the Mueller Report, I laughed and laughed and laughed some more.  And when this impeachment falls apart, I’ll laugh and laugh and laugh some more.  And when Trump is elected again in a landslide, I’ll laugh and laugh and laugh some more.  And after his second term is over, and nothing that your ilk has irrationally feared has come about, I’ll laugh and laugh and laugh some more.  TDS is a mentally degenerative sickness.  It leaves its victims in a mass of irrationally emotional ineptitude.  And I’ll laugh and laugh and laugh some more.

On the other hand, I don't think he cares about the Constitution any more than he cares about the Bible.

I guess we will just wait and see.

Why are you so certain of that?   I am not.

My talent (in a Biblical sense).  My skill.  What I do the best in life is knowing character.  I have used it all my life.  But I’ve never ventured out beyond my comfort zone with it.  In 2016, I was initially drawn to Cruz and Trump because of their character.  Carson and Huckabee also have appealing character.  But in time, I could see that Cruz did not have what it took to confront the Deep State.  He is too valuable as a Senator.  On the other hand, Hilary and Obama have very poor character.  That is why I voted against Obama, not because of the color of his skin but because of the content of his character.

When Ann Coulter told Bill Maher that she thought that Trump would win the general was the moment something clicked.  That was not some secret knowledge that was suddenly revealed.  It was the realization that it was a truth always there.  And I knew it was time to put my money where my mouth was.  I see and understand why Trump won and I see the same thing now.  I’m not going to wait.  I am all in.  I’m trusting my ability.  Sure, there is a risk.  Without risk, we never advance.  I’m risking the mediocre of the mundane for a dynamic future of a nation on the move.  Trump could be fooling everyone.  Trump is no angel.  But if being an angel is a prerequisite for having good character, no one would.  Trump has shown no hint of doing something counter to the office of the President.  You may not like his style, but that’s your problem.

Trump gives this inkling of hope to this nation that we didn’t have in the previous Administration.  All we have to do is reach out for it and seize it.  It is a Tinkerbell moment.  In effect, that is what happens in Trump rallies.  People clap and yell because they still believe in this nation and It has given us a new spark of life (we’re not dead yet, we believe).  It is very exciting.  That is a very contagious attitude.  To many can’t deal with that but many more can.  People want to be successful again and Trump is showing us that path.  Of course, Socialists can’t have that as they would lose their power.  They have to maintain the Plantation.  That’s the whole point.  The power does not belong to them.

I know that you are trusting, I am not.

I don’t give my trust easily.  Trump has earned my Trust.  I do not trust him blindly.  He must continue to earn my trust and he does almost daily.  I know him.  I’m not talking about his history, but again, his character.  Most people equate the two as the same.  They are not.  At some point, you have to take a chance.  The alternative is to just exist.  That’s not living.

Just by reading his past history and listening to his interviews, if he is the man he has always been, he is looking out for himself and his family and third his friends.

We are all human.  It is natural and normal.  That is the core of the Invisible Hand.  But in this case, his family and friends have expanded to be a nation.  He represents the nation well.

I know you have a different view,  I don't hate him though or subscribe all evil to him.   In your opinion he has done some good things, in my opinion only 2.  He is not Hillary and he has kept us out of war so far.

He’s done more than just some.  For example, he’s done all the needed intangibles to set the stage for next term.  He has weathered the ignorance of the Left and warded off the attacks from the Deep State.  He has appointed 2 Conservative Supreme Court Justices and RBG doesn’t have too much longer before she retires or expires and Trump will be able to appoint a third.  You can’t have liberal judges.  That destroys the spirit of the Founding Documents.  Trump has also appointed 180+ judges to lesser courts.  The economy is booming under Trump due to tax cuts and gutting unnecessary regulation and that is bringing back jobs and keeping unemployment down and raising wages.  What’s more is that it is not out of control.  It is strong steady growth with no sign of recession or inflation.  Trump has it just right.  Yes, he has kept us out of a shooting war, but we are at war with several nations none-the-less.  Trump prefers wielding the tariff rather than a carrier group.  And we are winning.  He leverages the power of his office to convince other nations to pay their fair share or act fairly.  In one of his rallies he said something that is really impossible.  He said that he has kept more promises than he made.  Those that have TDS will just claim that he lied again, but to others, this just makes you think and reflect on what he has done and what he has yet to accomplish.  The Left is just way too literal.

I wouldn't know if I had TDS and I don't think you would know if you are basing your expectations on wishful thinking.

Well, that’s part of having TDS, not knowing you have it.  Farmer is the best example of it.  My expectations are wishful thinking.  Nothing wrong with that.  I am not blind to the negative possibilities.  The difference is attitude.  If you are still hung up in the old “new normal” and “you didn’t build that”, then the outcome is pretty bleak.  Trump brings an upbeat positive attitude that the nation so desperately needs, to get out of this Socialist doldrums.  Let’s face it, Obama was an Obummer and Hilary was as exciting as a piece of wet cardboard and both corrupt.

On the other hand, I don't think he cares about the Constitution any more than he cares about the Bible.

He doesn’t?  Two documents that created him the environment where he could prosper?  He loves the Founding Documents and the Bible.  It is the Progressive Candidates (and Socialists in general) that decries Capitalism, the source of their wealth, besmirches the tenets of the Bible, and attempts to rewrite or do away with parts of the Constitution.

I guess we will just wait and see.

It won’t take long.

Federal judge completely contradicts Bill Barr’s attack on the Russia probe in sentencing ex-Trump aide

Quote

Gates’ information alone warranted, indeed demanded, further investigation from the standpoint of our national security, the integrity of our elections and the enforcement of our criminal laws,” she said. She also rattled off a list of the crimes Gates and Trump Campaign Chair Paul Manafort had been charged with.

“Those are facts,” she said pointedly. “Those are not alleged facts. Those are not alternative facts.”

The judge does realize that those crimes committed by Gates and Manafort are for crimes from 10 years ago and have nothing to do with the Trump campaign?  Or did she even care about that fact?  The Mueller investigation could have dug up crimes you committed in the past.  Everyone is guilty of perjury and process crimes.  It just takes time to find the right one.

Well yeah, he was the stool pigeon that provided the information that landed Roger Stone in jail.  He gets a slap on the wrist for singing like a bird and no charges related to the crime he was singing about.

What the judge is saying is that the information Gates provided was enough to investigate Trump, his buddies, and justify what the FBI did, despite what Barr said.

I'm actually hoping this will take a lot longer, so that all the Russian stuff yet to come out, gets revealed as all those court cases proceed.  Lev Parnas, anyone?

The amount of Russian money involved here will eventually be shown to be horrifying.  And it's *much* wider than just Parnas and Giuliani....

Oh, sorry, if you only watch Fox you won't (want to) know any of that.

Im really starting to think this dude might end up getting impeached twice. Once for what we have now and once again once all those details come out. The dems arent stopping the investigations just because they passed these two articles.

So, to summarise....

More than 50% of merkans want him impeached and out of office.  (Source, Fox news... :D )

The 'president' (in name only) has:

  • been proven to have cheated in one election, and is doing more of the same as we speak
  • obstructed justice on numerous occasions
  • used his office to enrich himself and his family and friends
  • solicited bribes and organised an extortion attempt on the Ukrainian gov't
  • oversaw numerous human rights and constitutional abuses
  • been accused of numerous sexual assaults (and jokes about it)
  • has 6 friends/associates already indicted or jailed
  • is an unindicted co-conspirator for multiple felonies and federal election law crimes
  • is an unindicted co-conspirator for the use of illegal hush money to cover an affair
  • is currently being investigated in multiple cases of tax- and company- fraud
  • has used his personal charity funds to pay for campaign expenses
  • has settled a case regarding his "university" in a fraud lawsuit
  • has still not paid multiple jurisdictions and organisations for his original campaign rallies
  • I'll stop there, plenty more and more to come...

Trump is now impeached (on both articles) by Congress.

But the impeachment now goes before the Senate, where the 'leader' of the senate has admitted he / the republicans won't be treating this as a proper court case and will follow the whims of Trump's attorneys (are there any left?).

Trump only achieved 63m votes, versus 66m of his competitor (she who shall not be named), but gained office (as did the Republicans in the Senate) via gerrymandering and the USA's completely fubared electoral system.

So, while more than 50% of voters want him impeached and out of office... the USA system will probably ensure that does not happen, and any further action will have to wait on court cases and the 2020 elections.

Yep.  Got it.

It's kinda inevitable, and while I don't like to see how this once respected country has now fallen from grace, the signs were there for many years.  Insidious corruption, constant political lying, a distrust of the media and authority in general that has now grown to uncontrollable levels, and a loss of decent, moral, brave characters in that system.  There are almost no good choices to vote for (on both sides).  So much so that Jill and Joe Average will vote for anything that doesn't look like a politician.

Dark days indeed.  If ever there was a time ripe for a new party, a completely new approach, this is it.  But I see absolutely no sign of that.

Thankfully Australia seems to be about 15 years behind you guys on this path to self-destruction.  I hope we are watching and learning enough to avoid it...

So major issues I heard about were that Carter Page did work for CIA and did have reason to have Russian contacts, but that was purposefully (?) omitted from the FISA request.

And that the Steele dossier was actually only backed up (?) by a leak based on Steeles document, and not an independent source.
