There Once Was A Limerick...

Basic Rules:

• Follow the 5-line limerick rhyming format - AABBA
• Your poem does not have to start with "There once was", but has to be about the poster above you
• You can be as humorous, nonsensical, cheeky and witty as you like, but follow general UM guidelines and requirements.

 

 

Just to kick us off, I'll start one at random:

 

There once was a man called George Bush

He did nothing but sit on his tush

After years in the office

Achieving nothing but 'novice'

He lived the rest of his days smoking kush.

There once was a man from Melrose

Named Ted, taken by UFOs

While being abducted

He thought "Just your luck Ted

You haven't a change of clean clothes."
