Beautiful fantasy paintings made into prints for puzzles.

So little is known about her. Not much info on the internet and no self protrait or photos. I wonder about her family if she has any living heirs (and if she does why they're not bragging her up. lol) Any one have any info.?

MARYGOLD aka MARION CROWE (British, 1896-1979)

Marygold was a nom de plume for an English artist, Marion Crowe, who was born in 1896. She was an extremely popular "art deco" artist, specialising in every aspect of romanticism. Her work was incredibly popular in the 1930's and was used for a wide variety of product including decorative tins, jigsaw puzzles, greeting cards, calendars and decorative boxes for handkerchiefs, chocolates, etc.

Once you commercialize your work in that way it kind of ceases to be considered...art...per say.   You are right though...she was quite talented.
