Eldorado Posted December 16, 2019 #1 Share Posted December 16, 2019 (edited) "Investors in the bankrupt cryptocurrency company QuadrigaCX want the body of its founder Gerald Cotten exhumed to confirm its identity and cause of death. There were 'questionable circumstances' following his sudden death in India last year of complications from Crohn's disease. "At the time of his death, the 30-year-old was the only person who knew the passwords to digital wallets containing $137million in bitcoins. "His untimely passing lead to the bankruptcy of QuadrigaCX, which had about 115,000 customers. So far, an auditor has only recovered $25 million. "Rumors on the internet have circulated since, that he may still be alive living off an embezzled fortune. Cotten was found to have traded on the exchange under different aliases, and had substantial funds transferred to him personally before his death."
