You don't even know what the hell you are talking about.  Maybe you'd be better off just sticking to Portuguese politics.

Maybe you should take your head out of your bubble

No thanks!  I'm actually quite comfortable in the bubble of rational thought process.  :)  It is rather lonely in here however...but that's okay too...Wolves aren't really lonely, we don't need Sheep Think.

So your rational thought process is to call divergent lines of thought sheep? Alrighty then

https://www.britannica.com/topic/liberalism

Quotation: "Some liberals—the so-called neoclassical liberals, or libertarians"

https://www.britannica.com/topic/liberalism/Contemporary-liberalism#ref237354

The point was only to show that the US thrue out the time has the tendency to "twist/change" the designation of concepts.  Another example is latino,  a mexican or others like m south central america are not latinos,  they are latin-americans. Latinos are from Europe and definatly the overwhelm majority do not speak spanish.

Back to the topic we (Portugal)  have a libertarian party elected politician ( as a curiosity detail my mother worked directly with him before he got got  into politics),  the name of the party is "Liberal Party".

And we too are changing the concept of socialist parties,  our current Socialist Party is moving away from left to the center in terms of pilitical spectrum,  as they too know that a socialist society (in classical terms)  does not work.

So yeah keep living in the freedom bubble,  its a great bubble,  the best bubble in the world,  its great.

I don't think it's used incorrectly anymore.  It is correct now.

In general, "Latino" is understood as shorthand for the Spanish word latinoamericano (or the Portuguese latino-americano) and refers to (almost) anyone born in or with ancestors from Latin America

Latin America is generally understood to consist of the entire continent of South America in addition to Mexico, Central America, and the islands of the Caribbean whose inhabitants speak Spanish, Portuguese or French languages prevail.
